My name is Agustina. I'm 22 years old and I'm from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I have been living in Melbourne for a year, with my husband Martin who will be taking a course for two years and a half, meanwhile I would like to work taking care of kids.
I have plenty of experience with newborn babies and children between two and ten years old. I have taken a first aid course with orientation to kids. I can swim, and most important I love to interact with the kids, going for walks to the park, helping them with their homeworks if it's neccessary, etc. Also, I’m working in a childcare centre in Elwood and studying Early Childhood Education
My first time taking care of children was with to brother of one and five years old. I had to make breakfast, take them to school and go back for them too. I had to prepare lunch, to bath them, and to help the oldest with homework. This experience lasted for almost two years.
The second time, I took care of a newborn baby from the morning to the evening. I had to keep the house clean, feed the baby, make her sleep and take her to some medical exams while her parents were working.
I would like to return to this type of jobs because I feel really comfortable around kids and they also feel comfortable with me. I know that it's difficult to trust your own children to a stranger, but I can assure you that my cares for the kids are thorough.
