Each kid is so unique, and so I choose to not confine my approach to any specific methods or parenting techniques, rather I listen, I observe and grow alongside them, adapting and meeting them where they are at with compassion and understanding. The capacity to which I can hold space for myself and love myself through big emotions and feelings mirrors how I can hold space in challenging times with kids. I am still learning everyday, but through my consistent practise of feldenkrais, meditation, conscious movement somatic practises and dance, my capacity to navigate challenge with patience and ease has grown. I endeavour to pass on my wisdom in a creative and playful way to your kids, so they too can flourish and thrive. In terms of logistics and my background : I was an international languages teacher for 2 years overseas teaching from the ages of nursery to high school and nanny for 3 regular families over the last 2 years in Melbourne. I have also looked after children from ages 2-15 up in the sunny coast for the last year. I also have experience with caring for children with disability and diverse needs, mainly children with adhd and autism. Hi there 😊 Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I genuinely love spending time with children, and I've worked with all ages. From newborns to teenagers. I've had a lot of experience with babies and toddlers so I'm very comfortable and confident with feeding, bathing, changing, and bedtime routines. I also have experience with twins and with using responsive settling to help resolve sleeping issues, so if you're struggling at night or need an extra hand in those early stages, please reach out.
