I am the eldest of many younger cousins, which as a result, encouraged my love for looking after the little ones. I grew up travelling the world with my family, learning the importance of culture, experience and open-mindedness. From the year 2012 to 2017, I lived abroad in Fiji, attending an International school and experiencing all that the beautiful tropical lifestyle has to offer. In 2022, I graduated from Methodist Ladies College in Kew and I am currently studying a double degree in Psychology and Criminology at the University of Melbourne. I have job experience in a variety of areas, including; Hairdressing, Cleaning, Hospitality and Sports Travel. In my spare time, I love to spend time with family and friends. I am very close with my family and often very biased when it comes to the cuteness of my little cousins! I enjoy keeping active, with some of my favourite forms of exercise being Pilates, Running and Weight Lifting. I also love incorporating nutrition into my cooking, focusing on well-balanced and delicious meals, always. I have spent a lot of time caring for kids, from babysitting my own cousins to my partners cousins to other peoples. Hey families! My name is Jess and I’m a 23 year old living in Kew. I currently work full time (Friday-Tuesday) managing a cafe in Richmond, which I absolutely love. I have plenty of experience with kids and have grown up as part of a big extended family with lots of younger cousins to take care of! I have also previously volunteered at a child care centre which gave me some extra experience with younger toddlers. I love kids and all the chaos that comes along with them! I’m more than comfortable reading to them, playing games, doing arts and crafts, going to the park/walks outside and driving them around such as to sports practice or pick ups from school/kindy, and getting them showered/bathed and ready for bed. I am a great cleaner and am able to do any household cleaning necessary to help minimise the work load for mum and dad. I always make sure to keep everything tidy, and can clean up after the kids no worries. I can also fold and put on any loads of washing that need to be done, or put away any grocery shopping. I am also a relatively good cook! But let’s not go telling Gordan Ramsay that. I’ve lived out of home before for a few years and learnt basic food prep and cooking skills. My parents are also great cooks so I’ve learnt lots from them growing up! Hi there! I am currently 22 years old, living independently in thornbury and have just graduated from RMIT (in 2023) studying a bachelor of criminology and psychology. I am currently looking for casual babysitting opportunities before I start looking for roles in my future career (in 2025/2026).
