Originally from the South of England, I moved to Melbourne over 4 years ago and am now a permanent resident of Australia. I have extensive experience looking after children of all ages and truly enjoy nurturing the potential of children through fun, creative play and facilitating consistent learning opportunities. I am currently looking after two families on a part time basis (5 children in total, ages 2, 7, 11 and 13) during the week, across the day time but I'm available for evening and weekend childcare on a casual basis. I am also open to a full time nanny role, should the opportunity arise. I currently oversee all aspects of household management such as meal planning, prep, grocery and clothes shopping, dry cleaning and errands, driving children to and from activities, school pick up and drop off, pet care (3x golden retrievers) and household maintenance including day-to-day cleaning and laundry. I have experience with settling babies when they are crying, feeding bottles and solids, getting babies/toddlers to sleep and dealing with the odd tantrum. I believe I was brought up in a clean and respectful family environment where laziness wasn't an option. I started household chores at a young age, cooking, ironing, cleaning etc which I think has benefited me as I have grown into an adult. I plan to join the police force next year. I would love to get involved with a permanent family and build my reputation, but I am also willing to help out casually. I'm a mummy-nanny looking for a few short shifts a week. I have experience nannying a family of 3 kids (8 months, 2 years and a new baby) for 3 years total and have loved watching them grow up!
