I am a mother of three children, 6, 5 and 3. I also have 10+ years of experience as a childcare educator, and 2 years experience as a youth support worker. I have my First Aid, Working with children check and also a police check.

Mothercraft/Maternity Nurse - years of experience with babies & children! I am a registered Tresillian Mothercraft Nurse - trained in 1980 & also did the Parentcraft Certificate through Karitane in 2007. Over MANY years I've had countless Mothercraft jobs specialising in helping families with babies to sort out issues around feeding (breast feeding, weaning etc), sleep & settling. I have worked as a live-out nanny for MANY families & have also done many 24/7 live-in temp jobs filling in for parents who travel for work. The age range of children in these jobs has been 0 - 18 years. At one stage I also worked in a day care setting - in the nursery. I am mum to 3 - now adult sons. I have recently located to Newcastle from regional NSW. I love being close to nature - so when Im not working - you'll generally find me out in the garden or out walking wherever nature is!

I'm a mature aged Mum, Widow, dog owner and a Career Nanny. As a mother of a son who has special needs I have had years of hands on experience with behavioural, developmental, speech, routine, fine and gross motor skills. My car is fitted with child restraint and booster seats. Over the years as a Nanny I have cared for children from 2 week old premmie twins to 15 years of age for twins, triplets, sole child or multiple children. The care has been in the children/s home including overnight or at an allocated venue depending on the family's situation. I thoroughly enjoy interacting and caring for children of all ages.
