Hi! I'm Libby! I'm originally from Tasmania but moved to the Gold Coast in February of 2023, as my boyfriend is an elite swimmer and is currently training for the Olympics. I am currently studying Paramedicine, meaning I have my First aid, CPR and Advanced Life support certificate, alongside a police check, working with children and vulnerable people card (blue card). I've always felt a deep joy when working with children, their energy, curiosity and pure zest for life is infectious! Helping them learn, grow and navigate the world is incredibly rewarding. I find it's not just about teaching them, but it's also about learning from them. They teach me to stay open-minded, to be patient and to never lose my sense of fun! Working with children isn't just a job for me, it's a passion! I've had previous work experience working with children as a babysitter and dance teacher. As a dance teacher, I was able to share my passion and love for dance with students of all ages, and groups both large and small, including private sessions. It was amazing to see how much joy dance could create. I was able to witness their growth, not only in their technical skills but also their self-expression and confidence. Hello, My name is Emma and I am a 17 year-old high school student who is very eager to getting into the childcare industry when I graduate. I am about to commence a certificate III in Early Childcare Studies through a school based traineeship. Although I am 17 years old this does not dim my amazing babysitting skills and experience. I have over 5 years experience frequently babysitting with a reference provided. I also have my first-aid certificate and a blue card. On one occasion I was put in a position where I had to juggle two young children ages 1 and 3 whilst comforting their mother who was having extreme pains and calling 000. I dealt exceptionally well during this occasion looking after the 1 year old that only wanted to cuddle her mum which she was unable to do, as well as waiting outside for the ambulance and directing them inside.
