We are looking for a long term nanny to join our household and take care of our super fun 18 month old. The most essential things we are looking for are:
- Highly experienced with toddlers this age
- Highly reliable, including being on time, able to commit at least until the end of the year (preferably longer), able to provide advanced knowledge about needing time away.
- Able to come up with developmental play, energy to go and explore the outdoors, source activities
- A willingness to collaborate with Mum (who largely works from home).
- Light housework while he is sleeping (typically 2 - 2.5 hours a day over lunch time), and meal prep
- Happy to share the space with a friendly inside dog
- A reliable car/licence to get to activities (not essential but great for visits to the zoo etc)
- All the usual credentials such as current first aid, WWC, and great references from previous roles
We are based in Fitzroy North and close to parks and Merri Creek. Hours we are seeking are 8-5, although we may need longer occasionally by agreement, and possibly occasional weekend babysitting if you're interested.
Start date is negotiable, as is pay rate.

Busy professionals are seeking a nanny/house manager to care for our 4-year-old and 8-year-old boys + keep our house running smoothly. We work in healthcare and tech and have schedules that often require after-hours/on-call work. Our boys are 4 and 8 years old and thrive with carers who tune into their needs, are engaging/curious, treat them with respect, and are playful, sporty, and creative. We need someone who is reliable, punctual and who can be somewhat flexible with their schedule.
Role requirements:
- Consistent weekly hours with a minimum of 28hrs guaranteed per week: weekdays (Monday to Friday) 730-10a and 3p-630p. +/- 3 hours on a weekend or one weeknight/week
- Mornings: breakfast prep and school drop off in the morning (using our car), followed by up to an hour of dedicated household tasks.
- Afternoons: school pick-ups, play, homework, and meal prep for dinner
- Weekends: 2-3 hours or occasional weeknights (these hours can be flexible)
- Weekly meal planning and prep
- Housekeeping duties including general daily tidying, organisation, dishwasher unstacking, taking out the garbage, and ad hoc clothes washing/laundry folding, running errands such as going to the post office.
- $38/hr - employed casually + bonuses for long-term commitment and performance
- Start date early June, we are based in Brunswick East
- Minimum requirements: resume, driver’s licence, WWC, and first aid. We need someone who can commit to a longer-term role.
We’re looking for a housekeeper/nanny to help our very busy family. Our two children, Sam & Aimee, are both high energy, active children. Sam loves being out doors, Lego and Karate. Aimee loves going to the park, drawing and crafts. My husband Tom & I work full time, we are both English but have been in AUS for almost 12 years.
We need someone who can spend 3-4 hours a day (ideally 4 days per week) helping us with school pick-up (from after care at around 5pm), taking the kids to activities, housework, laundry, meal prep and general errands. We are back at 6pm and kids are in school aftercare most days, so a significant portion of the hours would be ahead of them being picked up, to give time for the household jobs. We would love someone who is looking for a longer-term role (sorry no one looking for short-term positions).
In an ideal world, we'd love someone Mon-Thursday from 2-6pm (with some flexibility if we were going out for dinner or similar) but we can flex if needed. Our current housekeeper also does our cleaning - the new candidate could also take this on, or we could find a separate cleaner if required/preferred.
You would have use of our car while at work and we welcome someone who would enjoy taking the initiative to keep everything running smoothly. We spend a lot of time on the Peninsula, so we would also prefer someone who is willing to travel down there occasionally (travel time and expenses paid of course).
We are a fun loving family of 4 and we looking for a warm, fun and responsible carer for our two imaginative, energetic girls (3yr and 7yr) on weekdays (Monday - Friday) in the mornings and afternoons. We are a professional family and we need some help getting the girls to and from school and after school activities, bathed and fed. We also require some help with dinner prep and some light housework. We have cleaners so just require help with laundry, dishwasher, toy tidy up and meal prep while kids are at school during the day.

Hello! We are looking for someone to help us out in June, July and August while our nanny goes travelling.
We have three children; the older two (8 and 6) go to Fairfield Primary and the younger (nearly 3) goes to day care very close to our house.
Specifically we would be looking for before school care (which would usually entail arriving 6.30am, sometimes later) including day care and school drop offs, and after school care for the older two plus day care pickup for the 3 year old, Monday-Wednedsay. We would also likely need some evening babysitting and occasional care on other days if you were available. So this would entail 6.30am-9am and 3.30-6.30pm Monday-Wednesday.
We'd prefer to operate on a flexible basis as our rosters mean that sometimes we can cover the morning or afternoon stint.
Our kids do some clubs locally on some of those days so ideally you'd have your own car, but if you can manage the pickups and drop-offs from our house to the school (1km walk, kids are fine with this) then we can work around the other stuff with help from family.
Our kids are not difficult to look after and we can be flexible with your commitments if you give us as much notice as possible.
It would be great if you were happy to help with dinner prep for the kids and occasional household tasks like hanging out or folding laundry, making lunchboxes etc.
While this is a short term assignment, it's highly likely that if we all got along we would continue to use you for babysitting or occasional childcare when our regular nanny is unavailable when she gets back.

We are a professional couple with 2 daughters (3 and 5 years old) and looking for a special nanny to support our family after school 3-4 days per week. The days of week can be flexible for the right person - but will generally include Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (and an occasional Tuesday/Friday).
It will involve picking up our 5 year old up from school at 3.30pm and walking her home (5 min walk from our house) and then catching the bus to pick up our 3 year old from childcare in Northcote (7 min bus trip - Myki provided).
At home, the kids will wind down with some play and books, and you will prepare their dinner and bath them.
The main priority is caring for and playing with our girls but we also like to keep the household organised during the week - e.g. unpacking kid's bags, tidying up toys, stacking the dishwasher, tidying up after the kids' dinner etc. (Note: we have a cleaner so don't expect this to be part of the job).
We are looking for someone to become a part of our family and work with us long term.
Key qualities that are important to us include kindness and great with kids, reliable and punctual, and some basic food prep/cooking skills.

Looking for someone who is reliable and can work a full day on Wednesdays for the rest of this year. Hours roughly 8:30-5:30/6pm. Also looking for help on an additional weekday, when I'm not working but need an extra set of hands with the kids, to allow me to get tasks done in and out of the home (shorter hours, but flexible with days).
