The role:

My husband and i occasionally work from home but are usually stuck at our desks most of the day.
Key responsibilities each Tuesday woukd be pick up from kinder and child care using our car, bringing the children home, run some fun after school activities eg fames, craft, outdoor play, and then running the dinner / bathtime routine.
Time permitting we would also like your help with child-related light housework if i am home or the baby is asleep, eg keeping toys & clothes organised, setting up / cleaning up activities such as painting or craft, preparing lunch box, putting a pie or lasagne in oven for dinner. If you’ve got particular skills or interests in household management woud ove to hear about it!
You would need to have a drivers licence, WWC and child first aid (though we are happy to support you in obtainjng first aid cert. for a auccessful candidate).
The right fit with us and our family is more important than your level of experience or qualifications, though references are preferred. - Consistent weekly hours with a minimum of 30hrs over 3 days per week: Tuesday 7.15am-5/6.30pm, Thursday 8am-5.30/6pm & Friday 7.30am-5/6pm.
- Following child’s current routine, she naps for 1.5-2hrs in the middle of the day. All aspects of toddler care, including bathing and toilet training.
- Taking her to external activities (parks, museum, aquarium, library rhyme time).
- Meal and dinner prep (preparing toddler appropriate meals/lunchbox for daughter during the day, cooking easy dinners for the whole family).
- Housekeeping duties (general daily tidy, organisation, dishwasher unstack, taking garbage out etc.) including all laundry tasks and a weekly linen change of beds. They have a weekly cleaner, so no heavy cleaning required.
- Sole charge role with the dad working from home on Thursday (within an office and respectfully aware of staying out of sight), and both parents out of the house on Tuesday and Friday.

Looking for a warm and energetic babysitter with experience in disability. We have a gorgeous little boy with special needs (autistic/ADHD/Intellectual Disability) who is 5 and developmentally around 1-2 years old. He is nonverbal, very active, and has a lovely happy temperament. He loves water so any sort of water play or movement-based activities keep him entertained and happy. We are basically needing an extra pair of hands a couple of times a week for 3-4 hours (afterschool or weekends) to give us some time to get some work done from home, spend time with our other 2 kids, or run some errands. This would involve picking him up from school, minding him at home, nappy changes, doing some therapy exercises, and/or taking him out to the park. Every few months (July/Dec) we need some more intensive babysitting that would involve 2-3 mornings a week for 3 weeks where he would need to be driven to his intensive therapy program and assisted in between therapy breaks then driven to school).
