We are a professional couple with 2 daughters (3 and 5 years old) and looking for a special nanny to support our family after school 3-4 days per week. The days of week can be flexible for the right person - but will generally include Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (and an occasional Monday/Friday).
It will involve picking up our 5 year old up from school at 3.30pm and walking her home (5 min walk from our house) and then catching the bus to pick up our 3 year old from childcare in Northcote (7 min bus trip - Myki provided).
At home, the kids will wind down with some play and books, and you will prepare their dinner and bath them.
The main priority is caring for and playing with our girls but we also like to keep the household organised during the week - e.g. unpacking kid's bags, tidying up toys, stacking the dishwasher, tidying up after the kids' dinner etc. (Note: we have a cleaner so don't expect this to be part of the job).
We are looking for someone to become a part of our family and work with us long term.
Key qualities that are important to us include kindness and great with kids, reliable and punctual, and some basic food prep/cooking skills.

Hello! We are looking for someone to help us out in June, July and August while our nanny goes travelling.
We have three children; the older two (8 and 6) go to Fairfield Primary and the younger (nearly 3) goes to day care very close to our house.
Specifically we would be looking for before school care (which would usually entail arriving 6.30am, sometimes later) including day care and school drop offs, and after school care for the older two plus day care pickup for the 3 year old, Monday-Wednedsay. We would also likely need some evening babysitting and occasional care on other days if you were available. So this would entail 6.30am-9am and 3.30-6.30pm Monday-Wednesday.
We'd prefer to operate on a flexible basis as our rosters mean that sometimes we can cover the morning or afternoon stint.
Our kids do some clubs locally on some of those days so ideally you'd have your own car, but if you can manage the pickups and drop-offs from our house to the school (1km walk, kids are fine with this) then we can work around the other stuff with help from family.
Our kids are not difficult to look after and we can be flexible with your commitments if you give us as much notice as possible.
It would be great if you were happy to help with dinner prep for the kids and occasional household tasks like hanging out or folding laundry, making lunchboxes etc.
While this is a short term assignment, it's highly likely that if we all got along we would continue to use you for babysitting or occasional childcare when our regular nanny is unavailable when she gets back.

Our ideal nanny is going to need to drive and have capacity for a booster car seat in her car. We’re looking for a housekeeper/nanny to help our very busy family. Our two children, Sam & Aimee, are both high energy, active children. Sam loves being out doors, Lego and Karate. Aimee loves going to the park, drawing and crafts. My husband Tom & I work full time, we are both English but have been in AUS for almost 12 years.
We need someone who can spend 3-4 hours a day (ideally 4 days per week) helping us with school pick-up (from after care at around 5pm), taking the kids to activities, housework, laundry, meal prep and general errands. We are back at 6pm and kids are in school aftercare most days, so a significant portion of the hours would be ahead of them being picked up, to give time for the household jobs. In an ideal world, we'd love someone Mon-Thursday from 2-6pm (with some flexibility if we were going out for dinner or similar) but we can flex if needed. Our current housekeeper also does our cleaning - the new candidate could also take this on, or we could find a separate cleaner if required/preferred.
You would have use of our car while at work and we welcome someone who would enjoy taking the initiative to keep everything running smoothly.
