Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello, families! I'm Lydia and I'm from Uganda. I'm delighted to share a bit about myself in the hope of becoming your next trusted nanny. Growing up as the second oldest in a lively household of six children, I naturally stepped into a caring role from a young age, helping my parents with my younger siblings. This early experience sparked my passion for childcare, a path that has only grown stronger over the years. Before moving here to pursue my Master’s degree in Information Technology, I was fortunate to work at a local daycare. This role taught me a lot about children's educational activities and their developmental needs, allowing me to create a fun and engaging learning environment. My days were filled with arts and crafts, storytelling, and interactive play, all designed to nurture and inspire young minds. As a nanny, I believe in creating a supportive atmosphere that feels safe and loving for children. I am committed to making each day enriching, ensuring that I meet all the essential daily needs from nutritious meals to engaging playtime and everything in between. Here’s what I bring to your family: A Loving and Supportive Environment: I strive to provide a space where your children can feel secure, understood, and encouraged to explore. Educational and Fun Activities: Leveraging my background in IT, I incorporate educational games that promote learning through play, especially focusing on problem-solving and creative thinking. Routine Care: I am adept at managing daily routines, ensuring that children are well-cared for, happy, and healthy. Choosing the right nanny is crucial, and I respect the thoughtfulness that goes into this decision. I take the responsibility of caring for your children very seriously and am dedicated to becoming a positive and stable presence in their lives. In my free time, I enjoy exploring nature, reading about new technologies, and engaging in creative crafts, all activities that I love to bring into my nanny role to share and enjoy together with the kids. Thank you for considering my profile. I look forward to the possibility of meeting you and discussing how I can contribute to your family’s daily life and make a lasting positive impact. Warm regards, Lydia

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi there! I'm Georgia and I'm a uni student who studies criminology. I'm looking to go into the policing field in the future. I’m currently out of town but will be moving back and available from the 15th Feb. I love children and have been raised constantly surrounded by children. I have a very large family and friend circle so I have been helping with children from a young age myself, and am experienced in caring for all age groups. When caring for children under 1yo, a little more instruction provided would make me more comfortable though. I also have an older brother, so I know how to handle sibling fights as I was involved in quite a few growing up! I'm still a child at heart so will happily colour, play games, and watch kids shows without being bored, but am serious when needed. I will be at university from 9am-1pm on Mondays, 10am-1pm on Thursdays and 2-5pm on Fridays. Other than that I'm quite flexible, and my class hours may differ when the trimester begins. I have my own car and am more than happy to help with cleaning and chores, and I absolutely love cooking and baking. My previous nanny role included diverse duties, and I also spent full days with the children caring for them and the household duties. Looking forward to hearing from you! Georgia

Mary Poppins combined with Alice from the Brady Bunch is how I'd describe myself. Ive looked after children in a Montessori style recently, but am willing to follow your lead on your parenting style. I have had extensive experience with baby led weaning and enjoy the holistic approach . I have a love for children that has spanned my whole life; starting from when I was a teenager with the simple babysitting. As an adult I’m now still with the gratitude of being a professional nanny. Looking forward, children and education has been part of me for so long now it is a very natural progression professionally for me. I loved working in a childcare centre for 8 years. But I also love looking after families as a nanny as i think you can have a closer bond with the children and the family! My jobs have included newborns through to school age children, and all my nanny positions have been long term! I'm currently ad hoc nannying and have some spaces available for right family that needs me!
