We are looking for a part time nanny to join our family 2 days per week (7am until approximately 6pm). We have a preference for Wednesday and Thursday however this can be flexible for the right candidate.

We have three children and a dog. Our daughter is 4.5 and attends pre-school 3 days a week, our son is 2.5 and the baby is an 8 month old boy.

A typical day would involve helping with the morning routine, walking to pre-school, then local activities, pre-school pick up and preparing dinner for the kids. All of our activities and pre-school are within walking distance of the house and there would be no driving required. During school holidays all three children would be in your care.

A reasonable degree of physical fitness is essential (the walk to pre-school is about 1km and involves a double pram), as is a WWCC, first aid certificate, covid-19 and annual flu vaccinations and being a non smoker. General household upkeep related to the children would be expected (helping them to pack up the playroom, preparing meals).

Childcare experience and references are essential and early childhood qualifications would be ideal. My partner and I both work longish hours and have finish times that can vary at the last minute, so we need a nanny that is comfortable with a flexible finish time.

We would guarantee 20 hours per week, although this is likely to be closer to 22 hours per week over 2 days and there would be potential for ad hoc shifts. Hourly rate to be negotiated based on experience, and the package would include overtime rates, super, annual and sick leave.
