Meet Fabiola: A nanny, babysitter, and au pair in Petersham, NSW

My name is Fabiola (Fabi). I am an Australian Citizen (I have lived in Sydney most of my life and intend to continue residing in Sydney). I have a current Working with Children Check and First Aid Certification. I do not drive. I have a University of Sydney Bachelor of Arts (Honours in Education) degree with a triple major: Psychology/Education/Mathematics (my favourite subject being Developmental Psychology). I have extensive experience as a nanny, babysitter and tutor: positions I have always thoroughly enjoyed. I believe that ensuring children's safety, and respecting them and listening to them is of utmost importance. I have loved and been fascinated by children ever since I can remember. Since I was 15, I have provided both paid and non-paid childcare: I have a natural aptitude for facilitating children's learning in a fun way. I love caring for babies; it is a privilege to be there when they are learning so much: the world we tend to take for granted is so brand new to them …. I delight in the "purity" of children and their behaviour. And when their behaviour is ah… beyond the pale, I take deep breaths and somehow tend to keep my cool! I am a good communicator, mature, trustworthy, honest, reliable, nurturing, compassionate, loving, patient, friendly, kind, humorous, easygoing, active, energetic, and creative. I care very much for nature and the environment and enjoy a healthy life style (e.g. I do not smoke). I put my all into the babies, toddlers and children under my care. I positively impact their lives: being a good role model, seizing the opportunities that present themselves to further their development and education, having fun with them, and being there for them as they face life's challenges.
