Looking for: Part-time, Casual Babysitting
I am 58 years old and have enjoyed the journey of parenting with my own two children who are now adults in their 20’s. I've been babysitting/childminding for 5 years now. I currently have regular clients and can provide references. I love celebrating the differences in children and enjoy listening to their stories. I also like to encourage an ‘Attitude of Gratitude’ with the children I look after to help them appreciate their place in the world and those around them who support them. I enjoy reading children's books, acting, craft activities, kicking a ball in the park, flying a kite, cooking, gardening and I'm a very keen environmentalist. I am able to assist with cooking, homework, and some light housework. Availability: After-school care, Day care, Evenings, Weekends as well as School Holidays. Qualifications: Non-smoker, First Aid Certificate, Police Clearance and a Working With Children Check. Exclusions: No large dogs. On occasion small dogs might be alright depending on individual dog's disposition. Also, I have an allergy to some cats which might be a problem. It depends on the cat, especially if kept indoors due to cat dander. I have a sensitivity to Wifi in households so may require this to be turned off while I'm working. This is necessary for my health and well-being.
