I’m part of a big family of six, with a twin sister and two younger brothers (11-13 year age gap). Having younger brothers, I’ve always been helping out mom with big and small jobs, babysitting etc when dad was away for work (pilot). Aside from my brothers, I’ve got many young cousins that I’d volunteer keeping company and having fun with them as being used to it with my own siblings. During school, I’d also babysit neighbours and family friend’s kids as young as 1 years old. In my final year of school, I looked after a 10 year old boy who’d had suffered with a brain tumour which was now in recovery but struggled with severe sight loss on medication. This was a big job for me but I quickly learned what he enjoyed doing and helped him with school work etc.
