I'm an experienced 33 year old nanny who absolutely adores kids. I've just finished nannying 3 days a week for a gorgeous 1 year old boy and I'm studying community services and mental health part time. I've been babysitting since I was 15. I've worked as a full-time nanny for a family in Port Melbourne for 18 months (3 children under 4 years including 1 newborn) and have worked full time for a babysitting company in NZ. I spent 2019 nannying for 3 different families (ages 10 months, 1, 3 and 5) but daycare, kinder and school time increased and the families no longer need a nanny. I have performed in professional children's theatre companies in Aus, NZ and Asia. I love to sing and play characters and if your child loves these things too, then I'm the carer for your family! I'm a big book-worm so encouraging story time and helping young people learn to read is a huge passion of mine. I'm also an arts and crafts nut so I have lots of ways to spend a rainy afternoon when we can't venture to the park. I'm a vegetarian and very eco-conscious. I have experience looking after all age ranges and once I single handedly bathed, fed, read, sung to and tucked up 7 kids from 2 - 10 in one evening. I'm flexible when it comes to hours, a little change from week to week won't throw me. I have a current Working With Children Check, a reliable car and a nannying and children's theatre CV that I can send. I'm happy to generally tidy kitchen and living areas as well as do children's washing and change bedding. I have cooked kid's meals in the past and I make great lunches which tick all the nutritional boxes. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hi there! My name is Talia, I am 22 years old and have just graduated from a four year degree - bachelor of Film & Television at Swinburne. I come from a big family with 3 older sisters, two younger brothers, 2 nieces and 2 nephews. I love kids and like to think of myself as very creative, fun and caring. I love film, yoga, music (can sing & play keyboard), the beach, gardening and reading. I can assure that the children would be in safe hands, ensuring they feel happy and comfortable. I also ensure the house is spotless and all necessary housework is done!
HI Parents, Since qualifying as a Nanny in 2006, I have worked in Melbourne and abroad for many fantastic families, and pride myself with continued relationships with many of the children and families I have cared for. I consider myself very fortunate to be able to see these children turn into very special and talented people. My childcare experience ranges from new born babies to teen aged children. Although, most recently I have been with a professional family caring for their 1.5 year old daughter, 5 year old daughter and 7 year old son. With over 10 years experience in caring for children I have learned many tricks of the trade, but most importantly have maintained a love for working with children As an individual I would describe myself as being a Mature, responsible, reliable and cheerful person, am encouraging and patient, with a gentle, fun, yet authoritative nature. A person with excellent childcare and interpersonal skills, a Certificate in Professional Nannying & Training, Certificate III in childcare and extensive experience as a live-in, live-out and as a night nanny. I simply love children, love caring for them and find them fascinating, and I am seeking further nanny work to continue doing what I love and broadening my experience. feel free to shoot me a message if you would like to chat or see a copy of my CV! regards, Alisha

Hello! I'm a very responsible, reliable but also fun and relaxed person. I love kids (and may even still be one at heart!) I've worked with children of all ages (including infants) for a number of years, as a nursing assistant and as a residential support worker. I'm also studying psychology, so I'm quite a caring and compassionate person by nature. Flexible with hours, days and rate. I look forward to hearing from you :)
I am Amanda and I am very self driven, determined, bubbly young woman who comes with a nurturing nature. I have had experience working with young children in kindergartens as work experience. I also come with a great level of experience babysitting many young cousins and family friends ranging from new borns - 12 years old. Over the years, from high school onward, my part time work has been nannying whilst I've navigated through different courses. I have worked with various families, with children of all ages, even gaining experience with children with disabilities. I currently am a working casually as a support worker for a gorgeous autistic boy, however I am in the search of a more permanent, long term role with guaranteed hours weekly whilst I study. In 2018, I finished up placement at an institution for young people with special need requirements, which taught me how to manage young children of all ages and gain experience with a range of learning and social disabilities. From this, I have learnt a lot about patience and compassion. Currently, I am studying a Bachelor of Social Science majoring in behavioural studies. I hope to eventually work as a social worker with children. I previously studied a Bachelor of Youth Work (but did not finish) and prior to this I studied one year of a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, therefore I have quite a bit of in depth knowledge on the development of young children. I have grown up myself understanding the importance and the impact of the environment in which a young person is growing up in, therefore I take my work with young children in any setting very seriously. I am a positive person who is full of life and energy so I will not struggle to keep up with your little ones! I am committed to my work and will always go out of my way to ensure your children will receive the utmost, satisfying nanny experience they can. If I sound fit to join you and your family, please do not hesitate to contact me! Warm wishes.

Hello lovely families,
I am a 39 year old female professional nanny, who is looking for a new little family to love and care for on a permanent ongoing basis, effective immediately. My availability is any of Monday to Sunday with ideally a minumum of 5 hours on any given day. Please kindly consider notes above relating to my own baby.
My experience spans more than 27 years and combines both child care and nannying environments, for children of varying ages and needs. Aside from caring for my almost 6 month old baby girl, I have plenty of experience with twins, as well as similar age and multiple siblings. I have experience in dealing with the newest of newborns, and am equally adept at communicating with the most uncommunicative of teens.
I have supported many developmental milestones and life events such as transitions to solids, toilet training, becoming a big sibling, starting kinder/school etc. Further, I dont mind helping out around the house, and I love to cook - something which has always been greatly appreciated by the parents I work for. Who doesn't love coming home to a clean house and a nice meal?
All of my families are amazing, and I love that I have become part of their family, just as they are part of mine.
I really look forward to potentially becoming a part of your family too!
I hope to hear from you!
Hello Mums and Dads, I know how crazy life can get with work, your little ones running around, and in these ‘new times’ with Covid, trying to manage everything can be really stressful. But worry no more because I think I can help!! My name is Olivia. I’m a compassionate, fun and patient 28-year-old Nanny and professional ‘Mums Helper’, who lives in South Melbourne. I have been working closely with children and their families for over 7 years and I absolutely love my work. Over the years I have worked with a broad range of families and children (aged 2-15) including children with various special needs, particularly Autism and also children with behavioural difficulties. There’s nothing more rewarding than putting in the work and having the patience and compassion when a child is struggling and then seeing them transform and blossom into the best versions of themselves. Growing up with many nannies (some great and some not so) I knew exactly the sort of Nanny and child caretaker I wanted to be. Someone who can be ‘silly’ (when the times right) and can have a laugh, who enjoys getting my hands dirty whether it’s arts and crafts, playing around in the backyard or building sand castles on the beach. I love reading stories and going on excursions whether it’s the Zoo, museum or just the local beaches and parks. I am also very experienced at helping children with their homework. 2020 also brought me new experiences as I had the chance to home school two boys. I am a strong believer that all caretakers should put away the ‘screens’ and be interactive and involved in the child/children’s lives as we play an important role and can have a huge positive impact across many aspects of a child’s life (creatively, play, learning, confidence building etc). I also understand it’s not all about the fun and games. Parents need help too. If you need help finding routine again, de-cluttering of toys, cleaning-up after the kids, washing and ironing for the whole family, organisation of home and just finding some calm amongst what can feel like ‘chaos’- I can help. I also love to cook and bake and can help with meal preparations, school lunch box prep and creating the occasional treat (or more) for the family to enjoy. If you need help with birthday parties; including birthday cakes and party food- I’d love to help.. I can help with grocery shopping and any errands that are needed. If you’re only wanting a date night and just need a babysitter for the night I’m also available for any adhoc babysitting at short notice. I have my own car (2016 Hyundai i30) with 1 child seat and a full license. I have my first aid and Working with Childrens Check certificates.
