Looking for: Part-time
🌼 Hi families, My name is Nikki and I am a certified Early Childhood Educator! Leading up to my mum’s passing in the middle of last year, I was lucky enough to be a carer for her. This cemented my love for caregiving and family, so after her passing I decided to study Early Childhood Education. I absolutely loved it and developed such an attachment to each child I helped to care for during the day. I value one on one time with children. Time spent gardening, making art, cooking, in nature, going on walks, with animals, cuddling, acting and playtime are all what you can expect! I adapt well to all kinds of families and children, I also understand that each family has their own routines and expectations and am happy to adapt my approach accordingly
I am an experienced community services work, with over 10 years experience in the sector. My roles have included; working in schools, childcare centres, shelters, family violence looking at keeping women at risk of homicide alive, and child protection.
Currently I still work in Family Violence, managing/coordinating perpetrators rehab programs for stopping violence against women and children. I would like a break, and I miss working with children. Therefore, I am now looking for nanny & babysitting jobs :)
My name is Lana and at 26 years of age I have had 11 years of professional experience working with children. I simply adore spending time being creative with children, whether that be doing crafts, cooking, reading, games, music, being outdoors or playing pretend.
I work collaboratively with families to ensure the following is enforced to suit each family unit accordingly:
● Nutritious Meal Preparation
● Bathing, Grooming, Dressing
● Hazards Prevention, House Safety and Emergency Handling
● Nappy Changing, Sleep Schedule Management, Potty Training
● Behaviour Management
● Hygiene Maintenance
● Open and Respectful Communication
● Household Management
● Entertaining and Educational Activities and Outings

I am a 42 year old nanny who has been working in the nanny / childcare industry for the past 20+ years (working as a nanny for the past approx 20 years and a babysitter for the past approx 24 years), caring for children in their own homes, I am also able to offer care in my own home if this is your preference. I am looking for 3 to 4 days a week work and a long term commitment of 2+ years as I think its important for young children to have consistency with carers.I have worked for many different families as a nanny and have looked after up too 4 children at once, I have looked after children from age 5 weeks up till the age of 15. I own a convertible baby seat and a booster seat, however if you would prefer I am also happy to drive your vehicle as I have done in a past position. One question I have been asked many times is why do I want to be a nanny, the answer is simply that I enjoy looking after children and being a nanny / child-carer. Being a nanny is something I have always wanted to do, I believe that next to being a mother being a nanny is one of the most enjoyable and rewarding jobs you could ever do, I have no children of my own as yet so I strive to put my heart and soul into my work as a competent, professional, caring nanny. I thought I should add that although I have listed my pay rate at $25 an hour I am flexible on this for the right position.

(in past not current) Working with children check Vic, Car and AAA / Diamond rating driver. I am 28 years old, and have a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. I have experience with infants (3+ months) from my first au pair year in France, 6 months- 3 years in the child care centre, 3-8 years with my second Au Pair experience and other jobs, and older children through various babysitting roles. I'm an experienced 34 year old nanny who absolutely adores kids. I've just finished nannying 3 days a week for a gorgeous 1 year old boy and I'm studying community services and mental health part time. I've worked as a full-time nanny for a family in Port Melbourne for 18 months (3 children under 4 years including 1 newborn) and have worked full time for a babysitting company in NZ. I have performed in professional children's theatre companies in Aus, NZ and Asia. I love to sing and play characters and if your child loves these things too, then I'm the carer for your family! I'm a big book-worm so encouraging story time and helping young people learn to read is a huge passion of mine. I'm also an arts and crafts nut so I have lots of ways to spend a rainy afternoon when we can't venture to the park. I'm a vegetarian and very eco-conscious. I have experience looking after all age ranges and once I single handedly bathed, fed, read, sung to and tucked up 7 kids from 2 - 10 in one evening. I'm flexible when it comes to hours, a little change from week to week won't throw me. I have a current Working With Children Check, a reliable car and a nannying and children's theatre CV that I can send. I'm happy to generally tidy kitchen and living areas as well as do children's washing and change bedding. I have cooked kid's meals in the past and I make great lunches which tick all the nutritional boxes. Looking forward to hearing from you!
