Looking for: Part-time
I am a 42 year old nanny who has been working in the nanny / childcare industry for the past 20+ years (working as a nanny for the past approx 20 years and a babysitter for the past approx 24 years), caring for children in their own homes, I am also able to offer care in my own home if this is your preference. I am looking for 3 to 4 days a week work and a long term commitment of 2+ years as I think its important for young children to have consistency with carers.I have worked for many different families as a nanny and have looked after up too 4 children at once, I have looked after children from age 5 weeks up till the age of 15. I own a convertible baby seat and a booster seat, however if you would prefer I am also happy to drive your vehicle as I have done in a past position. One question I have been asked many times is why do I want to be a nanny, the answer is simply that I enjoy looking after children and being a nanny / child-carer. Being a nanny is something I have always wanted to do, I believe that next to being a mother being a nanny is one of the most enjoyable and rewarding jobs you could ever do, I have no children of my own as yet so I strive to put my heart and soul into my work as a competent, professional, caring nanny. I thought I should add that although I have listed my pay rate at $25 an hour I am flexible on this for the right position.
Hello Parents, I am a child care provider. I have worked in child care for over 32 years. In the past my position was to care for up to 4 preschool children on a regular basis working in my home as a Family Day Carer for Brimbank Council in Sunshine, Melbourne and other private agencies. I have worked with children from aged 6 weeks up to 13 years, some with mild to severe special needs. I have experience with singles, different age siblings, many sets of twins, 2 sets triplets and children with medical problems. The hundreds of children I have cared for over many years have come from many cultures and backgrounds. I enjoy my work meeting families and watching the children I care for grow and develop in their own special way. I have: National Police check. (in past not current) Working with children check Vic, Car and AAA / Diamond rating driver. I have done a Anaphylaxis and First aid level 2 certificate every 3 years for the last 30 but both currently not up to date (will do again if required) I'm a mature aged, non smoker who is fun loving, responsible, reliable and kind person with a flexible approach to childcare. I'm neat and tidy with very high standards of integrity, hygiene and cleanliness. If I'm the person you need to help out and be part of your busy lifestyle, please email me for my CV and references. Regards Marlene
🌼 Hi families, My name is Nikki and I am a certified Early Childhood Educator! Leading up to my mum’s passing in the middle of last year, I was lucky enough to be a carer for her. This cemented my love for caregiving and family, so after her passing I decided to study Early Childhood Education. I absolutely loved it and developed such an attachment to each child I helped to care for during the day. I value one on one time with children. Time spent gardening, making art, cooking, in nature, going on walks, with animals, cuddling, acting and playtime are all what you can expect! I adapt well to all kinds of families and children, I also understand that each family has their own routines and expectations and am happy to adapt my approach accordingly

HI Parents, Since qualifying as a Nanny in 2006, I have worked in Melbourne and abroad for many fantastic families, and pride myself with continued relationships with many of the children and families I have cared for. Although, most recently I have been with a professional family caring for their 1.5 year old daughter, 5 year old daughter and 7 year old son. QUALIFIED NANNY & NURSE SEEKING INFANT NANNYING ROLE. Hi Families! My name is Jasmine and I'm a qualified Nanny (Certificate 3 in Children’s Services) and Registered Nurse (Paediatric experience) returning to Melbourne after a brief year away - hoping to secure a new infant nannying position upon my return. For the past 6.5 years I've worked as a nanny in both live-in and live out positions. I have nannying experience with children of all ages, with the most experience from birth to 24 months of age. This is an age I genuinely enjoy and adore working with. My first, and one of my favourite nannying positions, was a live-in nannying role with a lovely family where I assisted the mother in minding her 2 year old and newborn from birth. I have continued to work causally for / stayed in contact with this family for over 6 years, this included joining them as their nanny on two overseas trips to Europe. Whilst completing my Bachelor of Nursing degree, I worked as a live out nanny in numerous different roles. Each of my multiple nannying positions had me working with infants - a main role involved being a sole care nanny for a newborn for up to 40 hours a week, until he was 18 months of age. I regularly see this family and it is unbelievable to think we recently celebrated his 4th birthday! On completion of my Nursing studies, I was extremely lucky to secure a position working as a Paediatric Nurse at the Royal Children's Hospital. The incredible opportunity to work as a nurse has allowed me to realise my ultimate passion of working with infants, particularly infant development. This realisation encouraged me to further my studies and I'm excited to now be completing a 3 year Master Degree in Child Maternal Health Nursing, whilst continuing to work as a nanny. My more recent nannying position, and one I hold very close to my heart, saw me working with an incredible family and an amazing 2 year old little girl - who I started caring for as a sole charge nanny weekly when she was 12 weeks of age. This position sadly came to an end due to my misguided decision (which felt right in the moment) to leave Melbourne during the unpredictable times of the Covid-19 pandemic. Even though I wont be returning to this family as their nanny, I’m thankful for our ongoing relationship and regular visits (which will excitedly be even more frequent with my return to Melbourne) - they truly are considered family! Currently and for the last 6 months, after regretfully leaving Melbourne and moving to Regional Victoria, I’ve been working in a lovely childcare centre as an assistant educator in the infant room. Although I’ve enjoyed this role change (which saw me working with up to 12 babies in the room at a time – ratio 4 babies to 1 educator), I much prefer nannying and the personalised connection of working with an individual family. Therefore, on my return to Melbourne, I’m hoping to secure a new infant nannying role (ideally sole charge) of 30 hours per week. My Qualifications include: Bachelor of Nursing, Certificate 3 in Children Services, First Aid, CPR, Police Check & Working with Children's Check. I'm currently studying: Master of Child and Family Health Nursing (Online Post-Graduate Degree). I charge $30-35/hr and can help with any household duties including: laundry, kitchen tasks (dishes, meal preparation etc.), and the running of appropriate errands. Further, I'm confident in all aspects of infant care: organising/implementing nap routines, introducing solids, nappies (including cloth) and toilet training, bathing, bottle sterilisation etc. If I sound of interest and could potentially be a good fit for your family, I'd love to hear from you! Many thanks, Jasmine.
