I am a currently studying psychology, majoring in child and family psychology at Deakin University. I am hoping to work as a nanny with a great family. I am a fun and bubbly person who loves to work with young people to help them reach their full potential. I have had experience working with children aged 2+ in vairious babysitting and tutoring roles. I am looking for an after school position for 2-3 days a week. I have my WWCC, lisence, first aid training and my own car that I cam ise for work.

I have recently been a nanny for 5 years for a lovely family in Toorak which consists of a 7 year old a 5 year old and a two year old. I love my job and always look forward to seeing the parents and children. I have gained experience by looking after children most of my life and by completing cert 111 in children's services. Bottle feeding, solids, meal preparation, cleaning, nappy changes, toilet training, bathing, nap and bedtime, following routines and schedule are all duties I am familiar with. Activities I like to do with the children I care for include painting, drawing, reading, playdoh, cooking, visits to the zoo , parks and science works, singing dancing and music . I have always loved being around children and being a part of their growth and development. I am able to provide excellent references.

My work situation is about to change due to a split in the family I am working with now. This would make me available three to possibly four full days a week. I am a mum of three beautiful boys, I have just retired as a owner/operator of my own business, 15 years as a Teacher, Curriculum Auditor and lecturer in gifted education programing and consultancy, to be more available to my kids as they tackle high school and university. All of my children were born between 29-35 weeks so I am no stranger to young newborns, high needs babies and beautiful bubs of all kinds. I currently work with a family in the evenings from 3 pm with a three and five year old (gifted pair) in Surry Hills. I finished last year with a 5 mth old whom I have been with since birth and before that a set of prem twins. For the past year I have worked as both a casual educator and full time director of a before and after school care (OSHC) service. This has given me extensive experience with children aged between 4 and 13 years old in an educational based setting. On the side of this, I have done many casual and ongoing nannying and at home education jobs with children from various ages (6 months +).
