Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hey there, I'm Alice and thank you for taking the time to read a little bit about me! I am a full time student studying a Diploma of Community Services, who is searching for part time-casual babysitting roles where I can build up my working experiences with children, enjoy valuable bonding time, and making fun memories with your kids while you remain assured they are being well cared for. I currently hold a casual position working in OSCH (before/after school care and holiday programs), I have a WWCC, anaphylaxis management experience (I am allergic to peanuts, so I always have an epipen on me), a level 2 (green) probationary driver's license, Cert III in Community Pharmacy, as well as extensive work experience in retail/customer service, emergency relief work, working with children and case management. I am a genuine, friendly, kind, caring and empathetic person: importantly, I consider myself as a responsible, honest, reliable and hard working woman as well. I am very approachable and always up for a chat, so please reach out to me via phone, text or email to discuss any questions/details. Thanks!

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I’m a bubbly, responsible, caring, and loving university student majoring in archaeology and zoology with the long-term goal of becoming a history/science secondary teacher. Until recently I was a live-in mentor for young people 16-19 years of age in out-of-home care who were transitioning into independent living. I aspire to one day be a foster carer. My hobbies include documentaries, podcasts and hanging out with my dog and housemates puppy and 2 cats. I enjoy kids of all ages and am a full believer that it takes a village to raise a child. I am passionate about learning, and having fun and fully believe children need consistent boundaries but with lots of love. I would love to go to the park, local library, museums, zoos, and other adventures with your kids, play games and do some arts and crafts. I’ll always read at least a few books with them. I was at one point studying towards a childcare qualification (until health issues got in the way) and have worked previously as a teacher’s assistant. I have this year done regular work for a family with 2 and 4 year old brothers doing daycare pick up (15 min walk one way), dinner, bath and bedtime, a 1 year old and 3.5 year old brother and sister, and a 1.5 year old with both parents working from home plus over the past few months I’ve done short stints with an 11 month old girl, 1 year old girl, 23 month old boy, 5.5 month old girl and have recently begun regular casual work with an 8 month old and 4.5 year old sisters (now 1 year old), a 4 month old boy and 8.5 month old boy-girl twins (nearly 1 years old) as well as a 16 month old girl. While I don’t have a driver's license I’ve experience with taking kids on public transport and am very confident myself. I have completed first aid training for the childcare and education setting, am confident in dealing with medical issues, and am happy to do pick up/drop off for school if within walking distance/public transport. Household chores such as laundry, tidying, and errands are also favorites.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi there! I am currently 22 years old, living independently in thornbury and have just graduated from RMIT (in 2023) studying a bachelor of criminology and psychology. I am currently looking for casual babysitting opportunities before I start looking for roles in my future career (in 2025/2026). I have previously looked after a family with 3 kids (aged 8-13) in 2022, and currently nannying for a family with 2 kids aged 10 & 11. I have also had many casual babysitting opportunities looking after toddlers and tweens. I have limited experience working with children under the age of 1. I can provide references for these experiences :) I am after work that is rewarding, and allows me to form greater connections to those that I am helping. My aspiration is to work in a counselling or case management setting that works with families and youth/children in the system. I have previously worked in a psychologist’s office where I assisted children with additional needs in their activities, and sat into occupational therapy sessions. I hope to bring the things I have learnt in this role with me! I am also an experienced pet sitter and dog walker, so I would be happy to help out with any pets as well. I am fully vaccinated (up to date boosters as well), have a WWCC, a current police check issued in march of 2023, year 3 of green P license.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I'm 43 years of age and I love kids! I have always found communicating and relating to all sorts of kids, comes very naturally to me. I am happy to do babysitting and/or nannying jobs. I consider myself to be a well-balanced person, emotionally, mentally and physically, which I believe sets a positive/necessary role model for growing and developing children and encourages a positive and healthy rapour/relationship between the adult and child. I have had 14 years on and off experience caring for children. From late 1994, I began nannying for a 2-year-old girl, Gemma and in 1996 when her baby brother, Jack, was born, I began babysitting them both for the next 8 and a half years. My Duties included: Changing/washing nappies. Bottle preparing and feeding. Supervising and participating in play/learning exercises. Ensuring that children had proper rest/quiet time periods. Cooking, bathing and showering of children. Taking children to and from kindergarten and school. Taking children out on excursions and participating in creative and physical activities. Ensuring completion of assigned homework and assisting with set text reading for school. Making sure child was in bed by curfew set by parents. Ensuring completion and attending to chores/duties set by parents. Cooking & preparing healthy/nutritious meals for children. Basic home duties, eg; washing dishes, sweeping, laundry. Assisting and guidance with Homework. Providing ideas and suggestions to children about activities and exercises to participate in, encouraging their interests and natural strengths. Ensuring each child was in bed by its set curfew. Intervening when conflicts between siblings became verbally or were at risk of becoming physically abusive, implementing conflict resolution skills and applying them to the situation and the siblings involved. I find working with children a really enjoyable experience and being able to help children to explore their interests, develop their talents and independence & build self-esteem, is extremely rewarding. Every job I take on, I take seriously and believe that every child I care for receives 100% dedication, commitment, attention & care. Ideally I am looking for casual evening and some weekend work, as my last semester at school will take up a large chunk of my week.
