Part time nanny for 4 y/o girl and 7 y/o boy
Start Date:01 Nov 21 Applications Close:22 Oct 21
Posted by Amy 13 Oct 21
Job Details: Part-time
We are looking for a part time nanny/carer for our 4 y/o girl and 7 y/o boy. Both parents are working full time in demanding jobs that have only become more so during the pandemic. We are looking for some help/support for 3 mornings a week for breakfast and childcare + school drop offs, and potentially a full day on Tuesdays. There is some flexibility on days for the right candidate and extra hours - we just need some extra support. Car can be provided with all appropriate seats.
The goal is to keep the kids busy, active and off screens as much as possible! They both like creative things, crafting, lego, inventing games, being active and scooting/riding. Some basic / cleaning / tidying would be a plus (clean as you go - nothing major).
Kids are lovely and friendly and have worked well with other carers/nannys in the past. 7 y/o has ADHD which is being managed and is high functioning otherwise. Both kids can need some extra patience and care at times to complete tasks like getting ready for school.
We look forward to hearing from you - Amy & James

Dear prospective nanny, we are in need of a reliable, caring and compassionate nanny to assist with the care of our loving children. The children love engaging with their nannies and are active people who enjoy playing tennis (our 11 year old daughter) and debating/public speaking/acting (our 13 year old son). At present, we require assistance with homeschooling. With easing of restrictions and return to school, the role will include drop offs, pick ups, support with afterschool activities etc. There will be some light housework and we have a cavoodle so dog lovers welcome!
If you think you may be suitable or wish to hear more about the role, please do not hesitate to contact me.
We are looking for a nanny to help our busy household. We have a 3.5y.o daughter who is at kinder a few days a week, but would like someone to care for her on Thursdays and Fridays at home.
Our previous nanny was a native Spanish speaker so if would be really nice for our daughter to be able to continue this if at all possible, she loves to get involved in art/play/singing/outdoors activities. A native French or German speaking nanny would also be helpful.
We also have a 15 months old son, and would like our new nanny to look after him a few days per week when his sister is at kinder. Total days would be 3-4 per week (around 25-35 per week), and can be further discussed. Occasionally a few hours on a Saturday.
We would like some help with household tasks as well, at least keeping the toys and kitchen under control and helping with food for the children.
We live in the Studley Park area, close to Kew Junction with several parks and playgrounds in walking distance.
Our wonderful nanny of almost 2 years is moving back to NSW to be closer to her family, so we are looking for a someone equally special to look after our three children, who are 7, 5 and almost 3, three days a week from 8am-6pm (ideally Tues/Thur/Fri, but we can be flexible on the days). Fingers crossed the eldest two will be back at school and kindy by early November, so the main focus will be our youngest. We are a relaxed and fun family and have been fortunate to have a number of wonderful nannies join our family over the years - all of whom are happy to talk to you if you would like!
We're looking for someone to help look after our boys Harry 3yo and Flynn 1yo. My partner does shift work, so we're looking for a nanny who is flexible and can work around his schedule, approx. 2days a week (sometimes more, sometimes less). Our kids are fun-loving and busy! Love to be outside and play in the park. As well as attending to their daily needs, we are also hoping someone can make sure the house is tidy at the end of the day. We are a very relaxed fun loving family and look forward to hearing from you!
Hi, I am looking for a babysitter to play with my 3-year-old boy (only 1 child) in my living room while I am working from home. I prefer Mondays and Tuesdays (or Wednesdays) half days, and Fridays the whole day (you can just do 1 or 2 of these days). No picking up, no driving, no cooking, no house chore is involved. Your work will be just simply reading books to him, talking to him and sing songs together in my place - very easy! My little boy is fun to be around and easy to get along with. Must be a non-smoker, have a Work with Children Check, and be fully vaccinated against COVID19. And (unless you have an ABN number) must have a Tax File Number and be happy to be on my payroll system (not cash-in-hand payment). WorkCover insurance will be provided. Please contact me if you are interested.
Our beloved nanny is moving on with the next stage of her career and so we are looking for someone new to help out with our tribe. We are Claire (Mama), Lev (Papa), Milly (3.5) and twins Elke and Felix (1).
Introducing a nanny to our lives has made a huge difference in providing mental & physical stimulation for our kids. You will be working alongside Claire, helping with activities, games and outings, as well as helping keep the house under control. This will include cooking the family meal (you are welcome to eat with us), kids laundry and tidying. Confidence settling small children to sleep is a bonus.
Milly is usually in Kindy 2 days a week but we are very wary of the increasing cases at the moment so she’s not going back just yet.
Fully vaccinated (or 2nd appointment very soon) is preferable. Levon and Claire are both fully vaccinated.
We would like someone who can commit until Christmas time, with a possibility of continuing should state borders not open! Hourly rate is $25-30 depending on experience. Our preference is to have the same carer every day, however we could accept applications for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for the right applicant. Please contact us even if your availability isn't exactly what we're after as we are happy to negotiate for the right person.
We are young husband and wife, working professionals, and our daughter has just reached 8 weeks old. I'm Vietnamese and my husband is Australian. We would like a nanny who has experience with newborns and young children, is available Mon-Fri (9 to 5) but can be flexible. Our home is in Surrey Hills, very easy access to train station, shops, and parks.
Hello! My wife and I are searching for a nanny for our two boys. We're soon to be both working full time and looking for a nanny to join us in mid November for 4 days a week. We'd love to do one or two days a week before then so you can build a great relationships with the boys.
Our boys are aged 7 months and 9 years (grade 3).
Experience with caring for a baby is a must, as is a working with children check. We're also looking for an energetic person who can play soccer with our 9 year old, and is a non-smoker.
Please apply if you think you'd be a good match for our family.

We are after a nanny from the hours of 7am to 10am on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. We are located in Westgarth (lower end of Northcote). Finally, we would ask for a quick tidy (put the dishes in the dishwasher, hang the washing or similar) before finishing at 10 am. The commute to school and childcare is about 15 minutes on bike or in the car, which we would provide.
Our girls are a true pleasure to be with. They are well behaved and fun (with a bit of cheekiness of course!) and drop offs have never been a problem.
If this is something you are interested in we would love to hear from you.
My husband and I am looking for a nanny to start end of Jan 2022. We have beautiful 3 boys, ages 1, 3 and 6. I am homeschooling and busy with 3 kids at home at the moment so pls be patient with me to respond.
Hi, we're looking for a part-time nanny for our 2 year old. We largely work from home so would be around to help if needed, but in separate rooms from the main play area, so not intruding. Bub is still having one nap during the day and is in cloth nappies - potty training is an ongoing mission. She's otherwise very verbal, into her paint, playdough, climbing her Pikler, reading and eating, often attempting more than one of those at the same time. She also loves parks and going for walks or trike rides.
Light housework would be appreciated, dishes away, folding or hanging laundry - we have a cleaner in non-pandemic times for major cleaning. If you wanted to drive bub to an activity or simply a different park, you're welcome to use one of our cars or use one of our car seats in your car.
Must have WWCC and experience with toddler, with references. Must be fully vaccinated.
$30/hour - we're flexible on pay and package and happy to negotiate with the right candidate. We would like 3 days per week from 8-5 but can be flexible on which days and possibly with times as well. The other days of the week, bub usually goes to a family daycare.
We are a family of four, including our little 14 month old and affectionate Hungarian Vizsla.
Our little one was recently diagnosed with Dravet Syndrome so we are looking for a part-time nanny/carer to look after her as she can no longer attend regular daycare. As a carer you will need to be comfortable administering medication in the event of a seizure. Developmentally she is currently on track so we are looking for someone who is compassionate and energetic who can support and encourage her development through play etc. She is active and loves exploring the outdoors! Preparing meals during care hours would be required and light cleaning duties to keep the house in order.
- Days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8am - 6pm
- Completed or Enrolled to complete an ACECQA approved Diploma, or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
Looking for a Nanny Mondays, Wednesdays (3.30pm-5.30pm) and Thursdays (12.30-5.30pm) school pick ups/after school activities for my 7 year old and Thursdays for my 4 year old in Hawthorn East.
Would love someone who is bubbly, enjoys lots of outdoor sport and activities and has an abundance of energy for two boys! Mum will be working from home for forseeable future.
Hope to hear from you soon!

We have a very cooperative and empathic 5yo who loves singing and colouring. We are looking for someone to help with drop offs to a local kindy/family day care (within walking distance) on Thursday mornings to start ASAP.
We can add pick ups on Thursday afternoon if you're keen. Hoping to add Tuesday mornings and/or afternoons and Wednesday mornings next year too (these are optional) when she starts school. Happy to add in some light housework if you want to have more hours.
We are two medical professionals who are looking for someone who is punctual, honest and vaccinated (not just to COVID). Our LO would prefer someone who can do nice hair-dos although we all maintain that beauty comes from the inside. We'd prefer someone local and who isn't allergic to cats.
Hello, we are a fun and busy family in Toorak with three children. Our eldest boy is in Grade 1, our middle girl is in prep and our youngest boy is in kinder (starting school in 2023). The kids love to swim in our pool, bounce on the trampoline, go for bike or scooter rides, play LEGO and help with cooking or baking! No allergies or special needs but plenty of sibling squabbles. We are a positive and involved family with lots of friends and hobbies, when not in lockdown! We both work in Banking (currently at home) but will be back in the office once restrictions allow.
