Job Responsibilities:
Engage in playtime activities and provide ample attention and interaction
Read stories and sing to the baby
Conduct appropriate exercises and play to stimulate development
Regularly change nappies to ensure the baby's comfort
Prepare formula and feed
Clean the table and highchair after meals
Wash bottles and toys
Assist with baby's naptime routine
Requirements:
Experience in early childhood education, preferably with experience caring for infants (0-1 years) in Australian childcare centres
Love for children, patience, and a strong sense of responsibility
Flexible working hours, available Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 7 PM. Can be full time or part time.
Relevant health and infant care training is a plus.

Duties are mainly related to looking after the kids safely, taking them and bringing them from/to school +/- kid’s activities if applicable, preparing lunch & dinner for family and ensuring homework/ online lessons are done.

I am looking for a gentle and engaging person to care for my 9-year-old son and occasionally also his twin sister. My son is currently attending school part-time after a year of "school can't". I am looking for:
* regular care on Wednesdays approximately 9-5
*additional days of care on the school holidays (some flexibility as to which days, but 3-4 days a week preferred)

My son is an academically gifted autistic child (PDA profile, also mild ADHD) with a lovely sense of humour and a strong interest in making things: forts that fill up the living room, some amazing Lego creations... as well as maths-based games and animals, particularly dogs. He is a very sweet and generous child but he can become stressed and then he needs a calm and understanding adult who understands that he needs help regulating his emotions, not a system of consequences or rewards. Ideally I would love to find someone with whom my son can engage in a mixture of healthy outdoor play, educational games, music and play based learning. But most importantly I am looking for someone with whom he can feel connected and with whom he can engage in healthy (non--screen-based) play on the days when I need to go into the office. He is currently only able to attend school if I am on site there (he has severe separation anxiety); so I'm looking for someone with whom he can build a strong connection that makes it possible for him to stay with the carer whilst I go to the office. He can bond quickly with someone so long as they are gentle, fun to play with, and happy to give him the autonomy that he needs in order to feel secure.
We're a family with 4 kids (girl aged 1, boys aged 4, 6 & 8) & we're experienced long-term nanny employers. This position is on the books with tax deducted, holiday & sick pay. We need a nanny who can do everything we do: love & care for a baby, kick a football, manage dishwasher & 1 load of laundry per day (no cleaning), make an easter hat if needed, possibly one afternoon's driving to sport. It's a big & busy job for someone with lots of energy. Package up to $45ph depending on age and experience. Weekdays in term time boys are at school 9-3, but other times you would have all 4 kids. Boys are sweet & high-energy - you need to be OK with mud & noise & sensory overload & know how to do firm & gentle discipline! The nitty gritty:
- Days are flexible could be 3 days or 2 days
- A few things that we have found we need to be super clear on: First, reliability is critical: please don't apply if you view sick leave as an entitlement to be used up (but of course it's there for when you're really sick). Second, please don't apply if you have any issues with substance abuse. Third, we need a 12 month commitment provided we’re a good fit - we need someone who is not planning to leave or change hours to study or more than 4 weeks’ travel in the next 12 months. Fourth, we need you to be OK with looking after sick children, including fevers and green runny noses and conjuntivitis and rashes, practising infection control. We don't expect you to work if they have COVID or gastro.

We are looking for a friendly and fun afterschool nanny to collect our six year old son from Year 1 at 3pm and bring him home. His school is on our street - a 5 minute walk away. Following this you would collect our 2.5 old son from his daycare, which is a 10 minute walk from our house . Once home we are just looking for some supervised play and rest time and providing some simple snacks until we are able to get home from work which will be 5:30pm at the latest. My husband and I live in Riverview in a house with our two children and two kittens. We are a professional family moving to the Roseville area in late April 2024 having lived in NZ for the last few years. We are looking for a reliable, mature, warm and organised nanny for our 3 children.
We require the applicant two days a week initially (Tuesdays and Thursdays 10-11hr days) to look after our baby (aged 11m) and do the kindie/school drop off/ pick up for the older two children (5, 3).
During the day the nanny will be with our youngest and can take her to activities but will also be asked to prepare dinner and help with putting out washing etc.
