Looking for: Casual Babysitting

Hello my name is Lizzy, I have recently moved to Melbourne from the UK. Whilst I am here I would like to pick up some casual/ part- time babysitting hours. I work as a freelance set painter for tv/film but am looking for casual babysitting jobs whilst I try to establish my career further over here in Melbourne. I have had plenty of casual babysitting work over the years and have recently had some in Melbourne as well. I am comfortable being responsible for children of varying ages and of up to 4 children at a time. I am trustworthy, reliable and time efficient. Whether it's playing games, reading stories, assisting with homework, or exploring the outdoors, I am dedicated to creating memorable and enjoyable experiences for the children I babysit. I am always up for some arts and crafts! Whilst I don't own a car, I would be more than happy to take the children to local parks etc if this is given permission. Due to working as a freelancer I am very flexible with my availability and it changes weekly but very happy for both day/ evening hours. I am also open to additional responsibilities such as light housekeeping, meal preparation and caring for any pets in the household. I look forward to the possibility of discussing how I can contribute to your family's needs further.

Looking for: Casual Babysitting

I am a very experienced babysitter looking to build relationships with families for casual evening babysitting. As I work full-time as lawyer, I am only available for casual, evening babysitting, after 6pm. I first began babysitting at the age of 14 and have experience babysitting for children of two years of age and older. I have worked with a large number of different families; cared for boys and girls and up to three children at one time. I have cared for children with autism spectrum diagnoses and complex needs. I greatly enjoy working with children, am warm, approachable and gentle. As a babysitter I am very interactive; I enjoy playing games with children, overseeing activities such as craft or art, or taking children for walks or to the park. I am capable in the kitchen and able to prepare meals. I am happy to oversee and assist with homework; I have an excellent academic record across a broad range of topics. In 2017 I spent six months as an au pair for an Italian family with three young boys in Florence, Italy. This was a wonderful experience. My day consisted of collecting the children from school in the early afternoon, taking them to tennis, the pool or the park, or supervising their homework at home. I often prepared dinner and put them to bed too. In 2012 I spent six months volunteering in schools across India. I taught English and Humanities classes and also assisted students with their homework. I also spent a great deal of time with students in a relaxed playground setting; just talking, playing and helping them with their English. I have my own transport. I am punctual and reliable, fast at responding to enquiries and flexible in terms of availability. I would be excited to discuss my suitability to care for your children.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello! My name is Moca and I am a qualified primary school educator currently living in Melbourne on a working holiday visa. I have always loved working with children and a majority of my work experience has been in the domain of childcare. I've been a nanny, swim instructor, after-school care leader, and primary school teacher! While I love my work as a teacher, I am not always guaranteed work as a CRT and am looking to also work part-time (or full-time for the right family) as a nanny/babysitter. In my last job as a nanny in Canada, I worked with two children under 2 and still have a relationship with the two families I worked for. As a nanny, I love to do activities with the kids I am looking after as I believe getting them outside and in the community is very important for their development! I have training in first-aid and anaphylaxis, and am able to obtain references upon request. I look forward to hearing from you!

I have extensive hands-on experience as a nanny, specialising predominately in newborns to 24 months. Beyond the basics of feeding and soothing, bathing and nappy changing, I'm aware of necessary activities to foster developmental growth, minimising screen time, and maximising engaging play activities. My experience also extends to aiding in primary school classrooms, where I learned to nurture toddlers' curiosity and independence. While I diverged from formal teaching to pursue other careers, my love for caring and engaging with children remains strong. Now that I have more spare time as I have recently gone back to university, I would love to fill that with helping parents nurture their young ones.
