Looking for: Casual Babysitting
I have recently completed my first year of a bachelor’s degree at Sydney Uni. I have experience in babysitting young kids, neighbours and friends, and have also volunteered at my local after school care. I regularly babysit my neighbours' daughter who is 5 years old and we have a lot of fun hanging out together. I love meeting new people and interacting with kids, but most of all, I have always been an enthusiastic learner and would love to pass on that enthusiasm, so that kids can gain a genuine interest in learning.

Hello, My name is Tess and I'm 35 years of age. I live in glebe with my husband, an artist who comes from Denmark. I love spending time with my family and my lovely Labrador dog, Olive. I’m looking to work part time with a kind and loving family maximum 20 hours per week. I’m currently an (online) student, part time in a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Art History whilst I continue working as a carer. I have worked as a carer since 2009 in both full-time and part-time roles around study. I’m a qualified ESL teacher and occasionally I work as a florist assistant to floral artists and stylists in a studio setting for events in the arts, as I’m passionate about nature and art. Previously, I lived in Camperdown, inner Sydney with my Labrador dog named Olive for 10 years and she is based here with my family. Since 2017 I have lived in Düsseldorf, West Germany, as we have a home there and I have been working as a teacher, a carer and done some assistant florist work. I worked for a lovely German family with a little girl of 3 for the year 2018 and I have been working with a florist and babysitting for my boss during 2019 in Cologne, West Germany (a train ride away). We also lived in Brüssel, Belgien, for 6 months whilst my husband completed an artist residency there. Whilst living there, I occasionally babysat for a Belgian family with 3 children, which was an enriching experience for me :-) Through this past 10 years I have also studied, taken a year to travel/live abroad. Through travel in 2015, I was fortunate enough to have an experience of assisting as a volunteer working with children and at a refugee camp near Skopje, Macedonia which was a very raw and insightful experience for me. Besides Sydney, Australia I have lived in Düsseldorf, Germany, Istanbul, Turkey, Brussels, Belgium (and we spend lots of time visiting my husbands family (in Denmark). I have had the privilege to gain a wide variety of experiences working with children from ages six months-twelve years, both bilingual and non-English speaking and have had the chance to know some really gorgeous families in Australia and in Europe too. I have worked for four different families in inner west Sydney, who I have a very special relationship with and some I still babysit for to this day, the others are all grown up now. I’m also a member of Pawshake, a pet/house sitting company as being a pet owner and vegetarian for 15 years, I love caring for pets too. I feel confident in my ability, caring for babies and children whilst managing a good routine, fun activities, healthy eating, sports, homework, cooking and light house keeping. I also LOVE animals! (So if you have pets, it’s a bonus for me). Some of the activities I enjoy doing with the children I care for are reading books, coloring in, puzzles, board/card games such as “memory”, painting, craft, listening to music, dancing, putting on plays, finger puppets, dress ups, walks to the park, outings to the libary, museums, galleries, cafes, flying kites, playing sports such as tennis, european football and swimming in the sea pools of Sydney. I have excellent references from my current/previous families, my Drivers license, NSW Police background check, Working with children check and my First Aid certificate. I really love working as a carer and I really want to continiue to build a special bond with the families I work with and I look forward to meeting you :-) Tess.

I have several years of experience working with children as a nanny, a childcare worker in a preschool, and a therapist for children with disabilities. I've also worked with children through tutoring, sports photography, coaching sport teams and working in the children's department of a Dymocks bookstore. I'm comfortable and experienced working with children of all ages. My interests include art-making, reading, guitar, and team sports. As a personable, honest and punctual individual who is passionate about working with kids of all ages, I believe I am the right nanny/babysitter for you.
Hello Families, My name is Lucy and I'm 24 years of age. I am a very outdoorsy person, I play lots of sports including netball, basketball touch footy, league and ballet. I also love playing golf (at a very beginner pace) and being outside in general. I have grown up on the beaches of Sydney. I started nannying when I was 17 for a beautiful family of 2 girls, who also welcomed their 3rd girl whom I took care of at 3 months old. All girls were under 3 and were under my care. I then started nannying for my second family, a friend of the first, with 2 children (5 and 2) who then welcomed their 3rd child a beautiful girl named Georgia. I have been on and off with casual babysitting for over 2 years now with this family. My third family i looked after on a permanent basis was Leo and Orlando who were 3 and 6, and were very outdoorsy and sensitive at the same time, I loved watching them become more confident and open with me as we spent more time together. I am currently nannying for a beautiful family of two children named Mitchell and Louella (6 and 2.5 years of age) both children have completely different personalities and are so funny and confident in their own ways. Mitchell is very sensitive and absolutely loves to listen to everything about you. Louella is very outspoken and clued on for a 2.5 year old and constantly surprises me with her attention to detail. I love watching these children grow and confide in me as we become more than just a nanny and child, we become brother and sister, sister and sister and I absolutely adore each and every child under my care and make sure they are as happy as they can be. I love teaching them common courtesy and manners just as I was taught when I was younger and watch them grow as children and enhance their skills and talents and find what they love. I coach Mitchell's soccer team, and since coaching I have noticed Mitchell's confidence grow and grow as he is very comfortable with me, and his skills has exceeded his own team mates (not being bias) but its just amazing to watch what a good bond can do to anyone's confidence.

Hey there! I am a primary school teacher from the UK currently looking for work in/around Sydney. I have five years of experience in teaching children over a range of year groups, nationalities and abilities. In addition to being a teacher, I have also been an au pair in Finland (2016). During this time I worked with a family that had 6 children, one of which was a baby. I would take the children to school and their after school activities in the car provided by the family. In addition to this, I would clean, do the laundry and help prepare some of the food. My main job was to look after the children during the day. When I was a full time teacher, I also spent time in families tutoring their children. This involved making learning fun and physical!
I am a 27 year old client service officer at an aged care service provider living in Zetland. I graduated from UNSW in 2017 with a bachelor of social work (honours). I have worked part time and casually at my first social work placement in a child and family centre. I have also done casual babysitting both in australia and in the uk. I love baking with kids and I love puzzles!
