Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello, I have recently moved to Geelong to commence my university course in Health Science, majoring in sports science, disability and inclusion. I have grown up in a farming district in the Riverina, near a small town called Lockhart. I am the oldest of 4 children and spent 6 years at boarding school. Last year I had a gap year where I worked and took the opportunity to travel. I believe I am practical, down to earth and personable. Whilst I am studying, I am looking to utilise my skills as a babysitter or nanny. I am reasonably flexible with my course & feel I could dedicate time to look after children whilst continuing to study. I have experience in babysitting and have my Working with Children Check and can provide references for previous work I have done as required. I absolutely adore helping and caring for children. Part of my experience has been coaching U/11s netball teams and achieving 2 premierships. I loved being their coach and mentor and enjoyed playing such an important role in the little team’s lives. I am energetic, thoughtful & responsible and I also enjoy creating friendships with whoever I am looking after, and in whatever role I am working.

Looking for: Casual Babysitting

Hi, my name is Elizabeth. (23yrs) I am currently working as a Personal Assistant at Bacchus Marsh Hospital. My previous roles include working in the Maternity Assessment centre at Sunshine Hospital as a Ward Clerk, a Dental Nurse at a private practice and before that I left my job of 2 years at the Royal dental Hospital of Melbourne. I have a strong passion for caring for children, I have developed these qualities from my experience as a Dental nurse and a babysitter. Throughout my career I have I gained a significant amount of knowledge in childcare. Working mainly in the paediatric and special needs department at the Royal Dental hospital. -Past Babysitting experience: I was a part time babysitter for 3 year old girl for just over a year. Both the family and I developed a strong relationship where I was able to provide them a flexible roster. Emmy-Lou was very anxious when parting with her parents, Immediately I was quick acting in thinking of ideas to distract Emmy-Lou from her parents being away. During my time with Emmy-Lou I would bath, change nappies, assist her with brushing her teeth, prepare her for bed and prepare food for her when she was hungry. During the day I would prepare activities such as painting, drawing, toy-play and other hobbies of hers. I also looked after two girls - aged 6 & 8 for around 6 months, where we also created a 'Big-sister' relationship and had movie nights every Friday together. Further more I looked after two girls Aged 1 and a half and 2 years old, occasionally with their 8 year old brother, so am more then capable of entertaining several children! I would love for you to take me on board!

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Thank you for your interest and consideration on me. My name is Miluska, I have qualified and formal education and experience in Special and Disability Education (also Community Welfare and Aged Care). I am a teacher (Bachelor Degree) for children with special needs (in Perú we named it: "Special Education Teacher"); also Nanny/AuPair with several and wide capacitation, trainning and experience (covers CPR, pool lifesaver, basic physical rehabilitation, first aid, pets care; activities as handicraft, bakery and others). I would like to work with babies, pre-kinder children and toddlers but on my among previous tasks and experience I have had the opportunity to take care children up to 12 years old. Everyone is unique and important besides,my background makes it possible and that makes me feel happy, confident and sure about my vocation and love for teaching and sharing with children every day. Prior to my arrival to Australia in 2007, I’ve been working as a Teacher of Special Education in Lima (Peru), focusing in early stimulation, behavior development and rehabilitation; as well performing as volunteer with several institutions like Association of Special Olympiads of Peru (for 9 years). I believe that my teaching experience (as a specialist helping and educating children and young people suffering from Autism and Down syndrome) has provided me with invaluable insight into interpreting the learning and emotional needs of individuals in general and specially babies and toddlers. I received my Diploma IV of Community Welfare in Community Services in April 2010 and Certificate III of Aged Care in December 2010 and as part of my studies in Australia, I completed a number of placements at aged care facilities, including Sacred Heart Mission and Hambleton House. As well, I’ve been performing job positions working with babies and toddlers for long periods of time. I would like to meet you and show you my patience, kindness, strength, dedication and energy that I could share with your children and with all of you. I feel that the basis for a teacher/ nanny and/or aupair is always a professional point of view. I am peruvian and actually living in Victoria (but my grandparents were from Czechoslovakia and Germany, so educated in both ways: with responsibility and affection). I would like to have the opportunity to meet you and demonstrate you the type of person that I am. Among many other things I can teach your children spanish, handicraft, pastrymaking, etc. Please, allow me to introduce myself to you and try to know me. Kind regards. Miluska Dusek

Hi, I'm Angie and I'm an experienced nanny. I have formal qualifications in Early Childhood and have worked in a variety of child care settings. I have helped care for all ages from newborn and beyond. I enjoy having fun with children as I find them to be so responsive. I love to sing, as children don't seem to mind! Of course this depends on the age group! Also helps soothe children if needed. I have also worked in schools helping to deliver literacy and numeracy programs. I am particularly able to provide fun, educational age/stage activities to help enhance individual children's developmental areas for pre-school children. I also enjoy playing board games, cards etc with children as this is a fun educational tool. I'll even try my hand at football and cricket! I speak Greek and it is amazing how quickly children can learn the language. Happy to include housework such as tidying, folding children's clothes, dishes, sweeping floors, loading and unloading the dishwasher. I love to keep fit in my spare time by going to the gym and walking a lot. I am a rating one driver and have a valid working with children's check. Please note, I am not available for split shifts. Thankyou
