I'm Grace! I'm an undergraduate student studying Arts and Political Science at ANU, and working part-time at a student-run radio station. I'm highly enthusiastic and organised babysitter with prior experience taking care of young children in singular situations, but I am very excited to try babysitting in a continuous role. My highest priority as a nanny is to make your child feel valued and included, and I pride myself on my ability to connect with children at a personal level. I am a big partaker in using play as a means of learning and development, and thus I encourage children to explore the world around them using games and activities. Whether it's helping with homework, sorting through a big emotion, or doing something just for fun, I always aim to bring fun to my work-style.
Safety and wellbeing are always my highest priority, and in addition to being first aid certified, I use structure to provide security into the day/night, tailored to the needs of each individual child I am minding. Having experience with neurodivergent and complex psychological conditions, I am highly qualified in providing care to children who are neurodiverse, have mental health conditions, or other disabilities.
I approach every day with a genuine love for connecting with young minds, and I always find joy not only in helping parents, but in making positive impacts for children in my care.
