Hi my name is Kerri and I am an 18 year old student who is currently studying Medical Imaging at Curtin University. I have previously completed my First Aid Training Course, which was a pre-requisite when I attended a Camp, which involved looking after disabled children. I do enjoy looking after and working with children and often babysit family and friends. Having grown up in a family of 7 children, I feel I am well adjusted and am able to cope with most situations should they arise. I am a very happy and energetic person, and believe myself to be fair and yet able to discipline when necessary. I would really like to gain a permanent position with a family, however any temporary work would also be great. I am currently on mid-semester break which enables me to be free mornings, afternoons and evenings until I go back to University on the 27th of July and even then, I am able to do flexable hours on most days of the week depending on my timetable.

I am currently in my final year of Neuroscience at UWA, and am planning to go on to study medicine next year. I have been baby sitting on a casual basis for approximately four years, with children from 18 months-6 years. I also volunteer for a children's charity which involves caring full time for 5-13 year olds on week long camps. Through this I have gained experience in bonding, listening and entertaining children, as well as dealing with difficult children. I have a caring and fun nature and understand the importance of good role modelling as a baby sitter/carer. I have a Senior First Aid certificate and Working With Children Check. My time is somewhat restricted by uni, but I can be flexible (short notice usually fine).
