Hi there, I am a qualified Nanny and Early Childhood/Primary Teacher. I have had considerable experience looking after all ages (6months right through to 8 years of age). I have been employed as an early childhood teacher in a preschool (part-time) which I thoroughly enjoyed. I have worked as a New Zealand nanny for several years and also as an international nanny for a very high profile Australian family who travelled extensively. I am a very honest and trustworthy person, who makes sure the first priority is the health and well-being of the children in my care. Naturally, kids take a liking towards me because I show enthusiasm and interest in them at all times. I am caring and sympathetic by nature so children feel automatically relaxed and comfortable around me. I love the outdoors, all sports, indoor activities such as; art, music and making things. I have recently moved from Sydney to Melbourne to study a Masters in Teaching (Primary) at Melbourne university. I specifically chose this course in Melbourne as the university arranges for 2 days/week practical experience in a primary school. This semester, i will be attending Gardenvale Primary school every Monday and Tuesday for my professional prac placement. All other days are spent at the university.
I have experience working with children between the ages of 4 - 12. You could describe me as a responsible, caring and nurturing young adult with a passion to help children learn, hence the reason behind studying to become a teacher.
