Hi there, I am a qualified Nanny and Early Childhood/Primary Teacher. I have had considerable experience looking after all ages (6months right through to 8 years of age). I have worked as a New Zealand nanny for severl years and also as an international nanny for a very high profile Australian family who travelled extensively. I am a very honest and trustworthy person, who makes sure the first priority is the health and well-being of the children in my care. Naturally, kids take a liking towards me because I show enthusiasm and interest in them at all times. I'm Pauline, a 22 years-old-French girl just arrived from Sydney where I was an au pair girl for 2 children (2 and 4) for 3 months. I've just had my degree in communication & advertising after 4 year studies. I'm used to driving, I don't smoke.
I would really enjoy being a babysitter for your children and maybe help you to manage the house ! I've been regularly babysitting from the age of 15 and I do get on well wih children. I have worked for the past 8 years as a nanny/au pair for different families across the US. I hold a bachelors degree from UC Berkeley and I have traveled internationally quite a bit so I am comfortable in most situations. I worked at a preschool for one year which offered me experience with children ages 2-6. For a better idea of my overall experience I worked at The Montage Laguna Beach Hotel in Southern California where I organized safe, daily activities including swimming, beach play, computer play, games, outdoor sports, and overall fun for groups of 5-20 children. Hi!
Im Emily, preferred to be called Em, am 19, turning 20 this year and have just moved to Melbourne from Sydney to study Psychology at the Australian Catholic University. I am the youngest in my family, with two older brothers, and I have a gorgeous niece Ivory, who is 16 months and another niece/nephew due on the 13th April ! For the duration of 2009 I spent the year living and working just outside of London, England, at a Private Boarding Preparatory School with children aged 2 - 14 (kids only boarded from 8) . In the holiday breaks I headed to Europe and travelled as much as possible ! Amazing experience ! At school the mornings would consist of me helping out in the Pre-prep (so from ages 2 - 5) and then in the Forms I and II (children aged 6 - 8). I would help in the classroom, with all activities, take the tiny little ones lunch and back, teach sport to all ages from 4 yr olds, and then of a night time, assist in the boarding house, ensuring a loving, and positive experience was had by all. I did this from January til December. I thoroughly enjoyed the expereince, and although I don't wish to pursue teaching as a career, it was sad to leave all the gorgeous kids that had become like my own! I recieved great response from parents of students, who were equally as sad to see me go which was very flattering ! I still keep in contact with the school, with regukar updates of how I am and too see what they are upto! I am kind, caring, friendly, outgoing, trustworthy, honest and would love your children as I'm sure you all do!
