Hi. My name is Claire. I am a university student studying psychology two days a week (Monday and Wednesday). I spent the entire time last year working as a governess/home tutor for a family living on a cattle property in central Queensland. The children I taught and looked after were 3/4 years, 6/7 years and 8/9 years old. The middle child has type-1 diabetes which I learnt to manage.
I volunteer a couple weeks a year during the school holidays for Edmund Rice Camps, caring for disadvantaged children. I also babysat for families in and around my suburb during high school.
