Looking for: Part-time, Casual Babysitting
Hello, I am a 42 year old female who has returned to study and am looking for some casual work. I was a full time nanny in my early 20's and have experience with children from just a week old up to around 11 years old. My partner also has an 13 year old son. Hi! I'm Lisa, a 26yo Master of Teaching graduate from the University of Melbourne.
A little about me: I absolutely love reading (so much so I started my own book club) and watching films (particularly golden age, anime and coming of age films). I explored these interests in depth for my undergraduate degree. If you wanted, I would love to read and work with your child and help foster a curiousity and love for these interests too. I am happiest when I am in my garden or cooking. I grow a lot of my own herbs and vegetables and love creating with fresh produce. Although I am not much of a musician myself, I do enjoy a wide array of music - it's a very big passion of mine. I love art and exploring other cultures, having travelled around Africa, India and Borneo in recent years - my passion for travel photography really emerged during these experiences. Finally, I'm a big fan of tea! Absolutely obsessed. At home I have many different …

Hi all! I am currently completing a bachelor of early childhood and primary education.
So far I have completed five placements working with children from as young as one through to grade 3/4. This year I will be focusing primarily on primary school and completing placement at local primary schools.
Working with children and students falls into my future career prospects as I love working with children. I find it extremely rewarding and stimulating. More importantly i am patient, kind hearted and I have most definitely jumped on the sustainability bandwagon. I believe there is so much for children to learn within sustainability which also tends to be pushed back to the later years in primary school. You can …

Hope to hear from you.
I have studied and completed a Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care at Gowrie Victoria. I also hold a Bachelor degree in Health Science. I am currently working in a kindergarten in Northcote, do casual work at a long day-care centre and casual nannying. I have worked with children (and adults) with additional needs such as Autism.
I have a lot of energy, love playing around and creating fun age-appropriate activities for the children I care for. I hold a Working With Children Check, Police Check, full driver's licence, first aid and references available upon request.
