Full-time Daytime Work ~ Sydney

Dear Host-Family,

My name is Caroline Kunze and I am 27 years old. . 
I have a degree in early childhood education which I completed in 2007. I then went on to complete my studies in special education and worked in a boarding school with handicapped and paralized children aged 3 to 6. My main roles were to education the children as well as care for them and provide psychological treatments. I also worked in a different boarding school helping blind children aged 8 to 18. I helped the children to deal with and overcome the difficulty of everyday tasks such as washing and eating. In the evenings, we did lots of singing, arts and crafts, as well as homework. After this role, I spend three months doing an intership on a maternity ward in a hospital helping new mothers with feeding and bathing their newborn babies. 

I moved to Washington DC in 2009 and worked as an au-pair for a year looking after two boys aged 2 and 7. During this role, my main duties were caring for and playing with the children, school runs, general tidying and cooking meals. I moved to Sydney in Augst 2010 and have been in my current role since October, looking after two boys, aged 4 and 2. We spend our time playing, singing, outings to the park, museums, zoo, reading books, going to story time at the library and having lots of fun together. I am also studying at Sydney University, doing an English course and would love to one day be a highschool teacher. 

I have a first aid certificate and a drivers licence, 
I am a very well balanced person, who is open, flexible, outgoing and fun and has a real passion for working with children.
My hobbies are dancing, surfing, going to the gym and travelling. I like to meet new people with different cultures and love experiencing the world.
