I am a US resident currently studying abroad in Melbourne for one semester while working on my nursing degree. With my Student Visa I am allowed to work up to 20 hours a week. I am great with children and have 2 younger twin brothers of my own. Though they are now 16, they taught me a lot growing up. I've babysat before for neighbors, relatives and friends back at home. When I was 13 I took a Red Cross Babysitting course and was certified - I'm not sure when that certification expired but it's been 7 years. I'm very playful, patient and organized. All I need to do is make a list of what you'd like me to do and I'll be sure it's done by the time you get back. I have also lifeguarded for 4 consecutive years and am up to date on CPR and First Aid certifications. When I was a child it was custom for my mom to ask me to 'rate' how much I liked the babysitter of the night; I would and it was dependent on that who would be called first the next time she needed someone to babysit. I feel that's how it should always be and I'll be sure to do my best at being that babysitter the kids and parents approve of.
