I gave birth to a beautiful boy in December and I'm now looking for just a day or 2 of work to get me out of the house. Ideally I would be able to bring him along with me. He is a great little guy who sleeps well and would not be a problem at all.
Up until I gave birth I was caring for 3 children 3 days a week doing 11 hour days. I was with this family for nearly 2 years.
I also cared for a 1 year old the other 2 days for 10 hours.
I returned from living and working in London for 2 years as a nanny in 2009.
My first job in London was working for a family with 2 girls, 3, and 8. As this family moved abroad I only worked with them for 3 months but then gained employment with a family of 4 children, aged, 2, 5, 9, and 11 in January 2008. I worked with this family for 18 months, leaving in June 2009.
My duties with all families included, all meal preparations for the family, school runs, organising playdates, shopping, organizing appointments, bathing, bedtimes, cleaning up after the children, and helping with homework.
On a few occasions I cared for the children solely whilst the parents have gone on holidays. My days started at 6.30am and usually ended around 8pm so I am used to long days!
Back home in Australia I used to babysit regularly for children from newborn to 15 years of age. I also used to run a small non profit playgroup for children under 5 from underprivileged backgrounds.
I have a St John’s senior first aid certificate and a clean driving record and I own my own car. I have a police check and Working with children certificate.
Since returning to Australia, I cared for a 6 month old boy temporarily fulltime while his Nanny was travelling, and some casual work for a family with 3 boys, 3, 5, and 7 and I also have cared for my Nephew regularly for the last 2 years.
