Hello parents!

I've recently returned from Hobart to live in Melbourne. During 2010 while living in Hobart, I became a part-time nanny with a local family. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience, and desiring to keep nannying, have now found another lovely family in Melbourne - again through this website.
I am also a part-time visual artist and have had experience parenting my own child. In 2008 I worked in a school outside hours/holiday program.

I appreciate the opportunity to assist and witness the development of babies and children through their different stages, finding this fascinating and beautiful. I particularly enjoy activities such as reading together, art/craft, and cooking. I see out-door time as important too - great for social and motor skills development and learning about our wonderful natural environment.

I am competent and willing to cook for the children/family in my care. I hope to find a couple of Melbourne families to have a long-term relationship with, and will often be available (with notice) to do occasional evenings or sleepovers.
I charge between $20-$25 per hour depending on the situation. Thanks, Isobel

Education Status: Course Complete - Bachelor of Art (Fine Art) at RMIT University

Other Skills: I have particular interest/skills in art and craft activities. I love reading. I value my health and place great importance on regular outdoor walking and yoga practice. I enjoy cooking and eating good, healthy food. In respect to children's interests and households: Backyard/local park footy, soccer and lego constructions are also favourites. Making an impromptu cubby house, boat or car from materials around the house is also a specialty of mine! And walking the dog to the park is something I have practised a lot and still enjoy!
