Hi! My name is Melissa. I am from Dallas, Texas and moved here to Australia to study nursing. I have enjoyed my time here exploring, and now I'm looking for an awesome family to work with and get to know while I continue my degree.
I have experience and a natural joy for working with children of all ages, and kids tend to take a liking to me very quickly. This might be because I'm very often enthusiastic, excited, and energetic! I have always enjoyed taking care of the little ones of my friends and employers alike, and I look forward to meeting new faces!
Looking for: Casual Evening Babysitting, Casual Weekend Babysitting, Part-time Afterschool Care, Part-time Daytime Work, Overnight Stays

I also have learned about child development and learning in theory as well as in practice during clinical placements at the Children's Hospital at Westmead. I have recently finished my second year as student nurse at The University of Sydney including clinical experience in a variety of hospitals and specialties. I love trying out new arts and crafts, especially with an excitable group! I'm also good at teaching kids new things like songs or dances. I have experience with elementary school homework help and working with special needs children, as well.
Languages: I'm not fluent in any languages other than English, but I have studied both French and Spanish.
Residency status: Temporary until December 2016

Through your website I have found the most wonderful lady to look after my 7 month old son. She started looking after him when he was 5 months. The process was quick, easy and I could not be happier with the lady I found.Charmaine (Artarmon, NSW) Read More
