I am a registered nurse and am looking for fun families that i can casually babysit for on evenings, mornings or occasional days. I still work full time but have started babysitting on my days off and in general here and there. I have previously worked in an after school care centre and from there babysat regularly. I am happy to look after children of any age, but would prefer toddlers and older. I have a current police clearance, working with children’s check and emergency medicine experience.

I am a university student studying Behavioural Science and Counselling, with the hope to work with children in the future, which is why I have an interest in babysitting.

I currently babysit for 8 hours one day per week, however as I only have uni two days per week I am seeking additional work on Mondays, Wednesdays and/or Saturdays. I am also available every evening except for Thursday.

I've finished my certificate in Teacher of Water and Safety course which I'm in the progress of becoming a swim teacher for Challenge Stadium. The job allows a huge amount of flexibility and also a great skill of communicating with children. As well as in winter not having many hours due to the pool being to cold for the kids! I have my basic resuscitation certificate and my children check is in progress ( I'm just waiting for my card). I'm hoping to start studying next year by either going to business school or another related course.In the meantime I think babysitting/Nanny would be a great way to add to my skills of swim teaching as well as swim teaching adding to my skills of babysitting, they both balance one another. Im also looking into doing private swim lessons through UWA so even if you have a pool at home would be happy to give private lessons to your kids !
I have had experience of babysitting to my three younger cousins when ages from 2years to 8years as well as looking after twin girls who were aged 3 at the time i started.
I have my license and own car!
