I love children, I was an Au Pair in America in 2005. It is a job I really miss! I looked after 3 children aged 18months, 5 & 7. I assisted with most tasks. Cooking dinner, putting the kids to bed, dressing, washing and doing fun activities with the kids! I drove them to their activities and was involved with teaching the toddler to swim and organising playdates. Days were busy, but they went so quickly because it was so much fun.

I really get on well with children, I'm gentle, caring and love having little chats with them. Kids say the funniest things! I'll love doing art and craft activies with your child, take them outdoors and play games, having conversations and being there for them, making sure they're safe and know they have a friend. There were a lot of tears from both me and the kids when I left to return back to australia after being an au pair.

Since then I have babysat, but worked full time in an office and customer service role and I really miss being with children. I returned to the states in 2007 to be a summer camp leader. There I looked after about 20 4-6 year olds with the help of 2 15 year old junior leaders. I ran activities, supervised and had a lot of fun with them all!

Hi, my name is Brooke. I'm 18 years old and I'm currently studying Speech Pathology at Curtin University. I'm also planning to, when my study is completed, work as a children's Speech Pathologist so gaining further experience with children through this babysitting job would be perfect for me!

I absolutely love chidren and I have previous experience working with children of ages 2 to 6 at my Church. I currently volunteer in Children's Church at my current church for 4-6 year olds, and prior to this I volunteered in the Children's Church (2-6 year olds) at my previous church for 6 years. I have also been a nanny for a family who had a 4 year old boy, though he was 3 when I began working with them, and I also have previous experience babysitting children, ages 1 and above, for family friends and neighbours.
