Being the eldest from a large family my passion for working with children began from a very young age. Throughout my life I have always been involved in child care; initially babysitting for family and friends which then lead on to me choosing a career down this area as I enjoy interaction with children so much!
In January 2012 I graduated with a Second Class BA (Hons) Degree in Creative Expressive Therapies, throughout my time studying I participated in several work experience placements during these placements I would facilitate interactive art workshops alongside children, in groups or on a one to one basis, in a clinical setting within hospitals and children Hospices. I have a wide range experience, from caring for new-borns, working alongside their primary carers to teaching groups of children upto 15years of age within a group or one to one setting.
I am ideally looking for full time hours within this job role; however this could consist of more than one family. I am very flexible with my working hours/ patterns. I can work a few evenings a week, however would prefer not to work late every night.
