I am from Czech Republic but I lived for past 14 years abroad, in London UK and Dublin R.O.I. I hold permanent visa for Australia. I have around 7 years experience in childcare. I have worked privately as a nanny and as a nursery teacher (5 children in classroom age 1-2). I am mainly experienced with children age 2 months to 5 years. As a nanny I was always in sole charge, responsible for the daily organization of activities (both indoors and outdoors), taking children to daily activities, doctors if needed, organizing play dates, cooking meals for the children and very light house work. I love working with children. I believe it is big responsibility to look after children but it is as well lots of fun. There is nothing better than seeing a smile on child's face and hearing child's laughter.

My name is Gemma and I am currently a primary school teacher living in Maylands, WA. I have had a lot of work experience with school age children. I worked as a nanny for a family for over 3 years while I was completing my teaching degree. Now that I have been working full time as a teacher for awhile, I'm now looking for some additional evening and weekend work.

I enjoy working with children as they always have the funniest things to say and always full of energy. I'm not a person who is simply going to sit your child in front of the t.v all day, but instead interact with them in lots of fun and educational based activities. I also, if you prefer, can take them out to places such as the park. I also have a range of experience in working with children with additional needs. I have a reliable car, a WWC and basic first aid training.

I live in Maylands but I'm available for work throughout the Perth area. I also have a spare room and I live across the road from a park with a playground, so if need be, I can have the children here at my home.

I study nursing at curtin part time. I have immense experience with babysitting/nannying, I have been looking after kids/babies since I was 14. Currently I nanny for a family 3 days a week, these hours will work around the new hours I take on so can go to less days/ different days/ half days if needed, the Mum is very flexible as she is not currently working. I look after a 4, 2.5 and 3 month old, both by myself and whilst the mum is home cleaning etc. I take the girls on outings and have car seats in my car. Happy to do housecleaning whilst children are sleeping, and any cooking for their meals. Other families I do casually or have done in the past include : 6 yr old, 4 week old, 3 yr old and 7 month sister, 6 week old and 3 yr old sister, 3 yr old and twin 6 month old siblings, 2 yr old, 14 month old, and the list goes on.
I love children and plan on continuing my studies into midwifery. I aim on creating a fun environment for them that is also safe and I am completely flexible, I blend with however your family runs :)
I have great references, wwcc, police clearance, first aid, licence, car etc.
