Im an enthusiastic Early Childhood teacher with 8 years experience in working with children.

I have a 'Bachelor of Education - Early Childhood Studies' degree, current Working With Children card, a College of Teaching Card (which has my Police Clearance on it), a drivers license and my own car (2 carseats fitted). During my teaching career I've worked primarily with 0-6 year old children (I've also worked in childcare).

In 2010 I was nominated for the Premiers Primary Teacher of the Year award.

I recently completed a 'Resus-a-Bub' child first aid course.

I have a gorgeous 14 month old son. He is a gentle, happy-go-lucky little boy. I am looking for babysitting/nannying positions during the day in which the family would be happy for me to bring my son as well (for evening work my husband will care for him at home). He is up-to-date with all immunisations. He sleeps from 11-1:30 during the day (goes down no fuss in a portacot). He has only home-cooked nutritious meals and I would be happy preparing/providing child/ren i care for with meals also if that is what parents would like.

Currently I care for a 13 month old child in my home one day per week along with my son. We have a fantastic time and I am confident in caring for more than one child at a time - making sure they are happy, well fed and well rested.

I am a Member of Buggy Buddy's Perth so stay up-to-date with upcoming children's free events. I am happy to take children on outings during the day if that is what parents would like. I have a double pram.

I always come prepared with my 'bag of tricks' - lots of hands-on, fun activities for myself and the children to do together if they wish. Stories to read, children's music to sing and dance to, art/craft etc.

Before a booking I email parents an "All About Me" package to fill out with information about their child - likes/dislikes, daily routine, sleep routine, emergency contacts etc, for me to refer to.

During the day I fill in a sheet informing parents about what their child ate, how they slept, nappy changes, what we did during the day and their childs mood.
