Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi! My name is Orvokki, and I am a 20-year-old woman who is currently studying music at UniMelb. I have worked as a piano and violin teacher since I was 13 years old, and I have many years of babysitting experience, so I have a lot of experience with children of all ages. I am warm and kind, enjoy being silly when appropriate, and believe that playfulness is essential for all humans, children and adults. I am originally from the country, but moved to the city to study. I grew up in Mansfield, then moved to Castlemaine as a teenager, and was educated in Steiner schools in both towns. Steiner education means a lot to me. Evidently, I love music, but I also adore pets and all kinds of animals, language learning, art and honestly anything else fun/creative. I believe I am a good balance of kind and loving yet firm and strong. I am excellent at problem-solving and think that communication is my biggest strength. Thanks for reading!

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello! I have been working within the childcare industry for 4 plus years now! I have worked in a residential children's respite home for children aged 4-16 with complex needs to provide day and over night stays. This required good communication and relationships/ rapports with children and also the families. I have also done nannying within this time frame, one lovely family in particular, for 3 children aged from 3-10. My tasks in both roles included tasks such as caring and supporting the child/children and accessing community and in home activities and tasks such as cleaning, cooking, personal care etc. as well as keeping the house and space in good shape. I am able to provide references and I am after work in baby sitting or nannying where I can work with children again because I love it and show off my skills and prove I can be pretty fun :)

British-born, Melbourne-based, and genuinely love what I do. I'm a professional Manny with a first-class degree, a teaching English qualification, and years of experience across all kinds of family setups. From newborns to tweens, solo parents to big busy households. Kids tend to call me silly. Parents tend to call me reliable. Both are accurate. I'm expressive, emotionally aware and empathetic, and I bring real energy and curiosity into everything I do. Outside of work you'll find me writing a novel, cycling Melbourne or on a tennis court. Long-term commitment. No intention of going anywhere.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

As a nanny, I have around 5+ years of experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to preteens. In my previous role as daytime nanny to a busy family of three children, I learned how difficult it can be to manage the varying needs of children in diverse stages of development. I honed the ability to care for each child individually, while paying close attention to the needs of the group. In addition to two full-time nanny positions, I have worked as a part-time babysitter for several families during my high school days. I love children and enjoy their company immensely and find nothing is more rewarding than taking care of them. I believe I can offer a positive, happy environment for children, one in which they feel protected and can thrive. I have good organisational and communication skills, which I believe are among the most important skills for a nanny. As well I believe I am a very approachable person, which benefits younger children to feel comfortable and safe around me. I don’t mind doing extra duties for you, like cleaning and cooking dinner for the entire family. I work well with other people, thanks to my friendly and caring nature.
