Looking for: Part-time, Casual Babysitting
I love working with children and have spent the last 10+ years doing so!
Over the years I have worked in a child care centre, as a nanny and a babysitter and have cared for children aged from 6 weeks to 17 years of age. I’m just as comfortable settling a baby for sleep as I am singing songs to a toddler or entertaining older children after school.
I am caring, nurturing and enthusiastic and I take a genuine interest in the development and happiness of children in my care. I’m still in close contact with families that I have worked with and have really enjoyed becoming an extension of their family.
I am currently looking for a lovely family (or families) I can offer part time or casual care to and my availability is flexible.
Please feel free to get in touch for more information or if you have any questions.
Looking for: Part-time
I am a creative, nurturing and fun-loving person who enjoys engaging and having great connections with people of all ages. I love spending time with children gardening, exploring museums and local playgrounds, skate parks, and places, having picnics, or having really special time reading, singing, making all sorts of music and art.
I have studied education and creative writing, but decided that Art Therapy was where I wanted to take engaging with people through creativity, so I completed my studies as a Transpersonal Art Therapist. As a musician myself, I've gone back to study now to complete a Bachelor of Music in hope to continue onto a masters in Music Therapy. While studying I also work with 100 Story Building going on impossible missions to impossible places wherever that imaginary realm takes us at any moment of the day with kids of any age. Working with families develops a very special relationship that I am always so grateful to have.

Hi! I'm a 24 year old student, studying a Bachelor of Arts with co-majors in creative writing and literature & professional writing and editing at Swinburne.
I am an aspiring children's writer with many passions including literature, spoken word poetry and health/fitness.
I have been babysitting casually since 2007, including for various families who lived within the same apartment complex as me in my hometown of Brisbane.
I am a bit old fashioned in the sense that I prefer to offer children tactile books, outdoor activities and arts and crafts over technology/device based entertainment. I love reading to and with children of all ages and helping to foster a love of books in little minds!
I currently run a busy café in South Yarra but am looking to replace this with babysitting and casual hospitality work to allow more time for my studies.
If you think I might be a good fit your little one, please get in touch.

I woke the kids up in the morning, made breakfast and got them to school. Then I picked them up, helped them with their homework and took them to activities. I was recently a live-in aupair near Taree for 4 months, taking care of a 7 year old with mild autism and cordination- and muscle problems (I did physio therapy with him every morning), a 6 year old girl, and a 15 months old baby. I recently just returned from living overseas in the United Kingdom where I studied for a semester of my university degree.Previous to my travels I was working at The Tiny Chef, a kids cooking school catering for children's birthday parties.I took on a leadership role, working with children from ages 3-12, often being the responsible adult by myself or with help from younger employees with groups from as little as two kids up to twenty five. The Tiny Chef involved me teaching kids to cook as well as entertaining them in the party room and ensuring everyone had a great time. I often had to solve problems between kids and welcome very shy kids and this took discretion and an understanding that each child is different and learns in different ways. It was my love for this job and enjoying being around kids each day that has inspired me to start babysitting. I've learned to communicate with children and have fun with them and would love to be welcomed into your home.
