My name is Callie and I am a fun loving young woman out for some giggles and joy in my life and a break from my studdies to become a nurse (a midwife or a peadiatrics nurse). I have always worked with children whether it has been looking after my next door neighbours from when i was the age of 13, to working in my local childcare center as i completed my cert 3 in child services during high school, to teaching swimming as i also hold my AUS swim and my lifeguard certificates. I enjoy working with children because it draws on my creativity and allows me to constantly see the world through new, fresh eyes.
Three years ago I became a live-in nanny for a family of three children, aged 6, 11 and 15, while their mother was away oversees for two months. At that stage I'd had no prior experience as a nanny, since babysitting as a teenager. I quickly became comfortable with the role, and grew to love the children and feel very accepted as part of their family. It was such a pleasurable experience that after the assignment was finished I began to seek other jobs in the nanny field. My next major job was nannying two boys, aged 6months and 4years.
