I work as an out of school hours coordinator at a primary school whilst studying full time Primary teaching.
I am looking for casual or permanent work on weekends and after 7pm week days.
I currently run a out of school program that can range from 15 - 50 children, so am used to things being a little hectic sometimes!
I am in second year Primary teaching and enjoy every second of it!
Since returning to study and working with children i have found the whole experience extremely rewarding, i love going home with a smile on my face every day.
I am extremely organised, great time management (you have to be when working with children!), outgoing and friendly.
I have a full drivers licence and my own car which is a 2011 Nissan Micra.
I am also trained in Level two First Aid and Anaphylaxis management.
No problem with pets.

Hello! My name is Gemma and I love working with children. I have had a great deal of experience working with over 8 different families and children ranging from infants through to 14 years of age. I have done so for over 6 years. I enjoy engaging children in different activities such as crafts, cooking, games, books and trips to the park and library as opposed to hours in front of the television. I have a great deal of craft experience and find this a fun thing to do with children. I am also very experienced in cooking and am willing to prepare breakfasts, lunches and dinners for you and your family. I am also open to taking on any cleaning duties.

I have recently completed my course (Bachelor of Psychological Science) and have opted to take the year off so my availability is great. I am reasonably flexible with times, pay rate and cooking/ cleaning duties.

I have a Working With Children's Check and a Police Check. My most recent and extensive work was with a three year old boy two full days a week for all of last year and referees are available upon request.

I Have been a professional nanny for the last 20 years, as a nanny I am responsible for ensuring the care and welfare of the children in my protection. My last job was for a lovely family with a 6 year old and 4 year old twins, which ended because the twns started full time kinder. I have travelled extensively and lived overseas, experiencing many different languages and cultures. Most of my positions have been long term positions ranging from between 2-3 year appointments. I have mostly worked with children in the age range of 3 months to 4 years. I really enjoy working with children and their families watching them grow. Hence my longevity in this field. I have also completed a recognised nanny certificate, a diploma in child psychology as well as a paediatricfirst aid certificate and am currently studying a Bachelor in Social Science majoring in counselling.

I am an experienced person who is; energetic, loves to play, read stories, do activities, enjoys the outdoors, picnics in the parks, educating and loving children, but will also use my own initiative with light household tasks like shopping, cooking, bathing, making kids beds, hanging out and folding washing. Remembering that the focus is on caring for the kids.
