My journey in the industry began as a children's entertainer (mostly as a fairy at children's parties and festivals), which I still do by request. I am a strong believer in the child-led philosophy, and believe that the most significant part of being an early childhood educator is in being attentive and attuned to the individual interests and needs of each child, and facilitating their growth through providing them with stimulating options in areas of interest to them.

I also have extensive experience with infants and find working with this age group incredibly rewarding. I am able to work with routines (or on changing them), I can successfully put babies to sleep, feed them, change nappies, bathe them when required and I have first-aid qualifications (including anaphylaxis and allergy management) to suit.
