Hi all! I am currently completing a bachelor of early childhood and primary education.
So far I have completed five placements working with children from as young as one through to grade 3/4. This year I will be focusing primarily on primary school and completing placement at local primary schools.
Working with children and students falls into my future career prospects as I love working with children. I find it extremely rewarding and stimulating. Children have so much to offer with their virtual school bags and funds of knowledge which sometimes is overlooked within the education sector, however I'm really hoping I can help diminish this view whereby classrooms can adapt to every child's individual needs.
More importantly i am patient, kind hearted and I have most definitely jumped on the sustainability bandwagon. I believe there is so much for children to learn within sustainability which also tends to be pushed back to the later years in primary school. You can …

Hello Parents and caregivers.I'm a 31 year old qualified primary teacher/personal trainer who has had over 15 years experience caring and working with children from infants to teens. I've loved working with kids ever since I was no longer one myself! All of the previous families I have working with will be happy to chat to you about their experience with me. I'm currently looking for teaching work also. Having not managed to pick up a contract for 2017 yet, I figured I'd pick up some nannying work again. The downfall is, I am looking for a teaching job (part-time/full time, casual). That being said, if i commit to a timeframe, I will honour it. I'm comfortable with dogs/pets, having grown up with them being a part of the family, and now having my own dog also.
Thats all I can think of for now. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have regarding my experience, lifestyle, or what ever else you might like to know. Happy days :)

I love working with children of all ages and am more than happy to help out around the house. I have previous experience babysitting and am the eldest of six children, three of which are under the age of eight - (8 year old twins and a 4 year old sister).
I also coach junior netball teams (ages around 12, 14 and 16) so have experience in the sporting field and working with children in that environment.I play netball at an elite level which along with my uni timetable somewhat restricts the hours I'm available. However, I am free Monday between 9am and 2.30pm, Tuesday from 12pm onwards, all day and night Wednesday, Friday night and Saturday and Sunday during the day and most nights.
I'm an easy going, organised and friendly person so please do not hesitate to contact me as I would love to discuss my role as a carer for your children with you.
