I am a student of the arts and education faculty at Deakin University, Burwood. I come from Rye, on the Mornington Peninsula and have recently moved to Hawthorn in order to be closer to my Uni. I have completed some teaching placement at a primary school and a secondary school which both went very well. I love kids. I originally wanted to do primary teaching but went with secondary because it was a double degree. I get along very well with children and am mature, responsible and also very bright, cheery and fun. I have years of babysitting experience and have had many regular jobs back down in Rye. Last year I was the regular nanny for a family in box hill south who contacted me through this website and I still do casual babysitting for them when they need me. I am very competent in the household and have taken care of more then 5 children at one time on a number of occasions. I have cared for kids at almost every age between 9 months and 15 years old (some quite difficult). I have also nannied for a family that hosted two aboriginal boys and I worked with them on a daily basis for a month on their reading and writing skills and cared for them, and the other 3 children in the family, after school. I attend university monday 9-6 and tuesday 9-4 and so i am available most days. I have been told that I would be a great mother and i can't wait to have kids of my own one day!!
