When I was younger I worked as a nanny to a family in Brighton for 3 years and thoroughly enjoyed it. I went onto do other things in my life but about four years ago I started looking after my friends little boys that Ive decided that this is what I love doing and have made it my career now.
I have been working as a nanny to a gorgeous three and a half year old for the past 2 years and due to her getting into kindy earlier I'm only needed on Fridays now.
I have also just finished caring for three year old twins as they have started kinndy this year too. I had been looking after them for 18 months, I still get to seem them regularly for get togethers & I still do the odd babysitting as we've all become very close. So, I am looking for work on Monday's, Tuesday's, Wednesday's and Thursday's.
At the end of last year I also cared for my friends kid's aged thirteen, eleven & eight while mum & dad were over sea's for a month. It was the usual role of helping with homework, taking them to school, all their after school/weekend activities like basketball, softball, football training/games & piano, clarinet lessons, yes, they are very active busy kid's but we all had lots of fun & I really enjoyed my time with them.
I also look after an autistic boy, Jack, aged 10 one weekend a month to give mum & dad a break. I have been doing this for about 3 years & have become part of the family, I have found it so immensely rewarding.
I have two young nieces Tahlia (better known as LaLiLu!) aged 8 & Claudia aged 5. I adore them and they love coming to stay with me "in the big city" as often as possible.
I am also lucky enough to be very close with all my friends kids, young & old who all call me aunty Tan, needless to say I love being around Children.
I also love animals, I have a beautiful staffy called Harri (who is my baby!) I love being creative, I paint & teach calligraphy & mosaic.
