LOOKING FOR WORK ON A WEDNESDAY ONLY!!! I am currently caring for 3 children 3 days a week and I am looking for some extra work on a Wednesday I have returned from living and working in London for 2 years as a nanny. My first job in London was working for a family with 2 girls, 3, and 8. As this family moved abroad I only worked with them for 3 months but then gained employment with a family of 4 children, aged, 2, 5, 9, and 11 in January 2008. I worked with this family for 18 months, leaving in June 2009. My duties with both families include, all meal preparations for the family, school runs, organising playdates, shopping, organizing appointments, bathing, bedtimes, cleaning up after the children, and helping with homework. On a few occasions I have cared for the children solely whilst the parents have gone on holidays. My days start at 6.30am and usually end around 8pm so I am used to long days! Back home in Australia I used to babysit regularly for children from newborn to 15 years of age. I also used to run a small non profit playgroup for children under 5 from underprivileged backgrounds. I have a St John’s senior first aid certificate and a clean driving record and I own my own car. I have just applied for a police check and Working with children certificate. Since returning to Australia, I have cared for a 6 month old boy temporarily fulltime while his Nanny was travelling.
