I am currently here on a student visa studying a diploma in Beauty Therapy, but will be moving on to a 457 visa as my partner is being sponsored through the company he works for.
Although i am studying Beauty Therapy here i have had many years experience with young children. I worked as an assistant in a day care centre in England for a year, working with children from the age of 6 months to 6 years old. I also lived with my Mum in the UK who has been a childminder for over 14 years looking after children from 3 months old to 10 years old. All of the children my Mum looked after became family to me and i stay in touch with them all and have great memories that i will cherish forever.
I played a very active role in their care and have great references from their parents.
My Mum is also a pre school teacher when she is not childminding and i have helped at the school on many occasions at short notice and the children are always excited to see me.
I have a complete police check in the UK, however i believe it is slightly different here and perhaps i need to be approved by another board(blue card) which i am fully prepared to do if required.
I am studying Beauty, however was extremely torn between Beauty and Childcare. Either way i will be studying childcare at a later stage in life, as now i am doing Beauty, i realise my true passion is working with children and always has been.
