Hello I have been working with children for 25 years and I am very passionate about my job. This is what I was put on this earth to do. I have worked with babies & toddlers mostly but have also worked with older children up to 18yrs. Some of the children I have worked with have had complex and severe disabilities and behaviours. I have also worked for families privately and have voluntarily taken on household duties to help out with the family. I personally have 4 children of my own so I know what it is like to be a busy working mum and tearing your hair out trying to get everything done. So I would love to come and help you to achieve your goals. I am currently looking for something full time but I am open to anything so dont hesitate to ask. I am keen to help out where I can. My name is Christie and I am looking for a casual/part time job looking after children of any age. In 2009 I volunteered at a childcare centre with children aged 0 - 4 years. I also had a regular babysitting job looking after an 8 month old and a 3 year old. In 2010 I moved to Chicago, USA to work as an au pair for a family with 3 children aged 9, 11 & 12. I lived there for two years until my visa ran out. I currently have a casual job at a supermarket and my hours there are very flexible. I will start college in July and I am moving to Germany to au pair again in November 2012. I would really like to keep working with children even though I am between au pair jobs and thought this website would be a great place to start!
